I was thinking this. Isn't the gps coordinate system for a round planet? long and lat? So unless you use the correct maths. I.E. For a sphere the results will be wrong. Of course the height shows the same as its measured from a set point. The centre of the planet.
If its visible and can be pointed out to children it may be good for the space industry and sciences in the end. Not saying they should be launching these multiple times though. As a one off I don't see a problem.

Go to the network settings in control panel.
Make sure the NIC is enabled.
Right click the adaptor.
If it has an option to enable then select it. if not then leave it alone.
Right click the adaptor and select properties
Select IPv4 and then properties
Make sure obtain an IP address...
