Cycle further out so you've got somewhere to go. If you want advance warning of what's coming up behind have a look at at a Garmin Varia. Considering the cost I'll stick to using my ears.
This. Make damn sure what you've done already doesn't need permission before ******* off your neighbours. What's the change in elevation from levelling your garden?
Yes. I recently bought an Octave from whiskybroker and had previously considered the Arran offer. The big thing to consider is the costs at the end (VAT, duty and bottling) and try and work out the overall cost/cost per bottle. From seeing costs of barrels elsewhere via a broker £3k for a barrel...
You should really look at having a trip to Islay and a visit to the distillery. I went there this time last year straight off the ferry to book a tour for later in the week. After about an hour spent chatting and being given samples my wife had to drive me to the cottage and I'd not spent a...
They've been selling new make to the trade so I've bought it from whiskybroker who call it lingdarroch and it's being stored in their warehouse. I've gone halves with a mate on it and the plan is to try a sample each year and bottle it when it's ready, probably 5 years or so. Taking into account...
Clynelish is currently down to £36 on Amazon and Bunnahabhain 12 is currently £30 in Waitrose.
I've had an expensive day as I've also bought an Octave, 56.5l to be precise, of new make produced at Bladnoch.
Scottish malt whisky can still be exported in bulk, it just has to be made, matured and bottled in Scotland to be labelled as Scotch. The majority of the whisky Ben Nevis produce is shipped directly to Nikka in Japan to use in their blends. There's plenty of rumours that Nikka in the barrel is...
I'll always recommend Ben Nevis 10. It's not really similar but I'd be very surprised if someone who liked Springbank didn't appreciate it. Clynelish 14 is also one you should try.
If you're ever up north near Skipton you should try one warm from Stanforths butchers. Lishman's butchers in Ilkley are nearly as good and Middlemiss butchers in Otley are also excellent but I prefer theirs cold. Reheating is only acceptable if you're eating it with mushy peas and mint sauce.
It's decent enough but very over priced now. Think of it as a much smoother 12 at four times the price. A D Rattray's Orkney 18 offers much better value https://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies/ad-rattray/cask-orkney-18-year-old-a-d-rattray-whisky/
Don't. I've got an unopened bottle and though perfectly ok it's over priced and a bit weak. It tried it at the distillery sadly after I'd bought a bottle. The similarly priced STR cask is far better. Last years friends 12yo sherry cask release is exceptional and I'm on the look out for another...
My B450 gaming pro carbon and 3700x combo wouldn't boot at all until I tried the bios link posted on Reddit. Everything else in the process stayed the same so user error was unlikely.
If anyone else is having trouble with a B450 pro carbon and 3700x then the latest bios worked for me. The one currently on the MSI main page just gave a CPU led error, but it booted first time after flashing with the following...
Whiskybroker have a an 18 year old single cask Arran at only £49.99. I've had quite a few bottles from them and the majority have been excellent with only a couple of mediocre ones.

When we moved recently both us and our buyer viewed the respective houses to measure up properly for curtains, carpets. etc after contracts were signed so we could get them ready for when we moved.
