I am absolutely satisfied with the philips and its colours:). My question was just out of curiosity. So thanks a lot for your explaination, good to know that.

Are those profiles working with games? I think ive read somewhere, that game gamma settings etc override the icc profile settings. Is that correct? Tanks.

No way. If 60 fps is not a must for you, even a single 980 is doing a good job at 4k. In case it does'nt, go for custom res 21:9 i.e. 3840x1620, which makes a 38 inch 21:9 screen. With that I even play The Witcher 3 and GTA5 at max settings at 30 fps. Looks truely stunning on this monitor.

3840x1620 is what I am using. I mostly play in 21:9, I like the aspect ratio which is even more imersive that 16:9 to me. Additionally you have more fps:)

Thank you for your answers. I actually think it is the monitor, but I will try to verify that again. As long as the screen keeps working flawlessly, I dont care much about the clicking...although it is kinda anoying not to know, where it comes from... Thanks for the hint with the peripherals and...

What attracted my attention: sometimes, when shutting down the computer I hear kind of a double clicking from the monitor, sometimes also when booting and sometimes at reboot. The Monitor is doing "click clack". It is not always, only some times, what seems strange to me. Has anyone else...

Anyone switched back from 120hz to 60z gaming in here...

Here! For more than three years I ve used the Asus VG278h @ 120hz. I switched to the Philips BDM4065uc 4K VA screen. I have to say, I really do not miss the 120hz much (which I actually have not thought before). The image quality of the Philips is so much better than the Asus TN, which makes...

@samuelmorris, you must have a faulty panel. What you describe is definitely not normal. Yes, I see ghosting in extreme situations like the Apple ad (post 1053 in this thread), but NOT in everyday situations like text scrolling or games. You should replace your monitor - send it back and get...

The "flickering" after booting is due to syncing of the monitor and the source. Happens sometimes, I know that from my projector. Nothing to worry about.

4K 40 inch or 34 inch super wide?

40 inch with 3840x1620 custom resolution! Makes a 38 inch 21:9 experience. And believe me, "experience" is the right word:)

Isnt gamma 2.6 too dark for everyday use? Or is that a special setting only for Elite?

I have noticed a little issue (dont know if it is actually one). When I was cleaning the screen gently with a microfibre cloth, I recognized, the panel kind of moves in and out a little bit, maybe a mm or less. It is like a bit loose from frame, but not everywhere, mainly at the bottom. Has...
