Infamous: Second Son on the PS4 really impressed me at the time and even now playing it again on the PS5 with a solid 60 fps it still manages to impress.
I actually look at this like I looked at AMDs first stab at chiplet designs on the CPU side, it might not have been perfect to begin with but it proved successful after a few generation, I can see the same happening on the GPU side with time.
These new cards might not have the outright...
I wish they'd manage these launches the way Steam did with the Steam Deck, staring at a broken Website for an hour trying to pay for something in your basket gets kinda tedious.
So I did eventually figure this out, it’s caused by the Microsoft Store needing to update mid download of any games and won’t show up in the download queue until you cancel whatever games you’re downloading at the time.
Really do wish they’d gone for a new OS/UI with this new gen of consoles...
Got my Series X last week and I’m having the same issue, one of the reasons I ended up selling my One X was due to silly little software issues like this that ruin the experience, never have any issues installing games on my PS5, honestly tempted to just send the Series X back.
I recently bought the GT DD Pro, really liking it so far but I’ll probably upgrade the brake pedal for the load cell kit and swap out the rim.
I was using the G29 previously and the switch to a direct drive wheel base has been a much larger difference than I expected, feels far more accurate...
Check the Advanced Graphics settings and make sure Extended Distance Scaling isn’t maxed out, that cripples performance on even the best CPUs and I’d recommend just leaving on its lowest setting.
Other settings I’d reduce is Grass Quality and MSAA, Ultra Grass Quality is very heavy on the GPU...
One thing to keep in mind is that the uncapped frame rate is currently experimental, so you may run across a few random issues, stuttering and audio problems being some of them.
343 are working on getting it running smoothly while uncapped, but with the game never being intended to run on...
I’ve had my Mamba just over a year and haven’t encountered what you described, it did have a few connectivity issues and acted a bit funky when connected via USB 3.0 however. Connecting it to a USB 2.0 solved those issues.
Quite clearly a cpu bottleneck at lower resolutions, GPU usage drops when the fps goes down, while CPU usage spikes... and 3.6GHz?
Next click bait video please :P
While there are some games that run quite well in DX12 I am inclined to agree with you for the most part.
Vulkan however seems to be really performing well, just wish it had a wider adoption.
