Half life 2 is by far the best game I have ever played.... Playing it for the third time now at 1920x1200.. The gameplay and environments are so immersive. To me it makes COD4 and crysis look poop. Why do they stress systems so much for hardly and graphical gains over a three year old game...

Well.... I have pretty much exhausted everything now. Its running rock solid at 2.7 but surely I can get more? Did I just buy a plum of a mobo?

Ok guys some results...... Or not as the case may be...... I tried upping the FSB of the cpu to 333 and ran it 1:1 with the memory clocked down at 333 also. This failed to boot so i upped the vcore to 1.4v and it still refused to boot! I then tried running the CPU FSB at 333 and the Memory at...

Cheers Cairnsey. So is it possible to run my ram at 400 and my CPU at 333? Surely my ram wants to run as fast as possible? Cheers

cheers mate.... Could anyone shed any light on this fsb buisness? Where does the 1333 come from as opposed to the standard 333 Fsb??? I see what your saying with regard to the ram being rated to 400fsb so I won't have to worry about that. But I'm sure when I leave the fsb linked it ups my ram...

I currently have a Leadtek 7800gtx I'm upgrading my rig and I'm contemplating going sli and getting another! Firstly can I mix an nvidia 7800gtx with a leadtek 7800gtx? I'm not a huge gamer but I would appreciate a little graphics upgrade with my new CPU and mobo etc etc...... Do you guys...

that psu looks great I think I will go for the corsair. I have heard xp pro won't use 4gb of ram?? In any case will a 64 bit be faster in normal operation? With regard to the memory will I be ok with 6400 or should I go faster? Cheers
