**** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Thread ****

With the latest update that includes the camera improvement and June security update, has anyone else found that it has had a big impact on battery life? It's really taken what was an all day phone to now meaning I've have to charge it by about 17.00hrs. I've cleared the cache partition but it's...

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Thread ****

Have just got the one ui update on my BTU phone, early impressions are its great. It seems so slick and far quicker than it was. I love the gestures, taking little bit to get used to them, but has given phone a new modern feel.

    Three Feel at Home

Have just come home from Los Angeles, my daughter is on three and the feel at home set up worked, but was only really any good for basic web browsing and WhatsApp. Initially the phone roamed onto t mobile and didn't have data, but could text and call. It took me going though a web chat process...

Yeah the finger print scanner working with things such as banking apps would be huge for me. I have a note 9 which is great and I'm now having the I don't really need it but want it battle with myself! The camera set up really appeals to me, I loved the look of the low light night shot...

Three UK Wifi Calling Help and Advice

Just popped into a three shop, they stated that as log as the phone supports it then both WiFi calling and volte should work, the said it isn't locked to phones only from 3 anymore and should work on all device's, as long as the device has the options built in.

Three UK Wifi Calling Help and Advice

Is anyone using an unlocked note 9 on 3 and getting WiFi calling and lte calling? I would be interested in changing to 3 but don't want to lose these features as I currently have them on EE. Also is three data whilst roaming still heavily throttled? I travel to Spain a fair bit so this is...

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Thread ****

Thanks for this, I've gone with that deal with three as its rather good! I've got the phone now but theres a few issues that I need to try and figure out. Namely, it keeps bloody crashing! I can't use an alarm on it as an app keeps crashing the phone which then causes it to restart but because I...

    BT Infinity & FTTx Discussion

I can honestly say BT were the worst company I've sent had the misfortune to deal with. I had fibre broadband, landline and Sims with them and the actual products were I have to say rock solid, but their billing and customer services were like nothing I've ever experienced before and I'm 48...

Recommend a mesh home wi-fi network

I understand what your saying about a product being released and being fit for purpose, but it is a pretty simplistic way to look at things. Yes we could all mention numerous different products where the manufacturer has released them to early and the product hasn't been right. It is also...

Recommend a mesh home wi-fi network

Yeah wouldn't argue that the BT system was bad, of I'm being totally honest in the four months I've used it, it's been pretty decent. WiFi signal was pretty solid although all around my house. The Amplifi system has improved my WiFi speed by around 15 to 20 meg on the download. I'm on 76meg fttc...

Recommend a mesh home wi-fi network

Well I've had the Amplifi HD for 24 hours now and have to say I'm very impressed. They provide a far more robust and solid WiFi signal than the BT whole home system did. I'm not saying they were bad, but the Amplifi is far a better system, although it is still early days.

Recommend a mesh home wi-fi network

Thanks, I will be interested to see how it compares to the BT whole home system

Recommend a mesh home wi-fi network

I've just ordered the Amplifi HD system, how do you find it? I've been using the BT whole home wife system and its been generally good, but I wanted something with a bit more customisation.

    Anybody on Virgin Mobile?

Number of my family have recently gone onto sim only deals with virgin, been pretty good the data speed you get is limited compared to what I get on EE, so guessing that's something to do with priotpri on the masts, but they still get more than useable 4g speeds

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Thread ****

I love note 8 is a great device but understand what you mean about phones only being incremental updates now. The market is at a stage now where it is waiting for the next big development and no one is really sure what that will be. It's at stage now where the lower tier devices are more than...

**** The Official Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Thread ****

I received the OTA update for my unlocked Note 8 this morning, clearly to early to talk about any potential battery life improvement benefits, but phone feels far smoother in general performance and app opening.
