Now is the worst time to buy in my opinion. Creality is releasing K2 with their version of colour printing. Sovol is realising sv08 fast corexy. Anycubic and others are supposed to show theirs as well. I think bambu will come up with something new as well

no worries :) i think you should be fine with SE.. 3d printing is one of those hobbies where you have to see if you are into it. It has a learning curve. If you like it and you learn stuff you will know what you want/need.

It's definitely some capacitors.. In psu or on the motherboard. Try powersupply if that doesn't help you are probably looking for an upgrade :)

well that is the risk when doing modifications you learn from it and you fix it :)

well i am not an expert but from tuning my ender 3 i can tell you that those fast speeds definitely require some calibration :D

sometimes they need to be service out of the box. Did you tried contacting customer service?

You will be fine. Your psu has ADDITIONAL pcie 5 connector but also has older 8pin.

I would say it's time to service your printer. Clean the Z rods and linear rods.

i ordered some tensioners from ali express for my printer... stil thinking if i should go with linear rails.. but i think dual z axis first

if the owner has some filament ask him to do a short print if possible

I'm in a similar position. I got moded Ender 3 neo with klipper that can print decently fast. I enjoy tinkering with it but i think i want a nice "box" coreXY so i can stick it in the corner of the room and just use it :D .. or just print more parts for the ender3 :)
