Got the G7 Odyssey monitor now for a week. Switched from a 34" 3440x1440, NO VRR, VA, 60HZ Only.
Awesome upgrade. VRR and 240HZ are a game changer. It came with 1010 Firmware. Just installed the newest one. 1011.0 and now I can see defintley more banding in Youtube for example. **** me, why...
The Gainward Phoenix which I got after the Palit Jetstream, wouldn't even fit in the slot. I Found other comments about the same problem...soo I couldn't even test if that would work... :D :D
But now I just ordered a MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X should arrive monday or tuesday. Will report here back...
WOW, now that's quiet interessting I think
The problem is now I just ordered a new GTX 1070 but this time from Gaindward the Phoenix one which is the same like the Jetstream I guees. Probably all Palits/Gainward make problems with Z87 Chipsets or soemthing like that. I think I need something...

Installing the new 1070 Jetstraem from Palit and all I got was a black screen when the GPU was inside the PCI-E slot, removing the GPU booting from Intel HD all fine. Put GPU back in slot, but booting from Intel HD installing nvidia driver...
Hmm, have no problem with eye strain on the sammy.
Pretty amazing dude, I first just used the above written settings picked up from pcmonitors.info. With this settings the monitor was already well calibrated. i tried some profiles from this thread too, but they were all doing black crush or/and...
My 34" VA Samsung does never look so bad, like this...
Every size above 24" make no sense for TN imo. 27" might be acceptable, but even bigger? should be horrible.
You should hopefully, my first I got was ****, had a disgusting looking dust on the right side always visible no matter what was displayed. But the Second was perfect.
Quick settings without a calbritation tool.
