So normal method used is this to produce Pic 1:

Used this for years but found out recently that its not ideal and there is a better way to get less clock stretching and better performance.
So rather than doing this, what you want to do is (pic 2) ***EDIT...
Stock boost is around 2790 on all 8 pin cards and the limit is power even at stock you are hitting PL continuously, only overclocking you will see the odd voltage/thermal limit while constantly in PL
The 2475 is just Nvidia gareenteed boost
Just edited my post, does your slider not move from 100%, is the card 8pin, if so don't worry its locked. But you can still get some nice UV, ill post examples tonight and the difference between two methods of UV the curve, handy to know,
Edit: I misread, does your slider not move from 100%? I don't know your model but only two of the MSRP 8pin cards allow PL over 100%, asus dual and GB windforce
Its normal on the 4070, I have the winforce with +8% PL. It won't draw over 200w unless you put a big RT load on it, try port royal...
Sounds about right, same as what mine is doing, I think I just don't understand it correctly, I was expecting to max out the PL but I can't, I think its normal behavior now. Thanks for testing.
I got the GB windforce 4070 (from OCUK) as its one of two 8pin 4070s that allow extra PL, just so you know it doesn't actually work and 200w is still the performance cap limit even at 216w limit.
Had I known the PL increase didn't work I would definitely go for two big fans over 3 tiny things...
Curve optimizer in bios, allows under-volt across all frequencies and massively reduces temps on this cpu and max out all cores to 4450mhz on all core load.
Latest Bios for that board is 1.2.0.8 so will support CO for 5800X3D, even the older ones on MSI boards will do it because they knocked...
I know it appears in afterburner but don't know if it works (its +8% again). I THINK these two are the only 8pin cards that have extra PL, all the others ive seen don't have it. Just need that little bit of extra power as they got the headroom, mine will bounce off 3000mhz with +210 OC but I...
Just a heads up the power limit slider on the Gigabyte doesn't work (will go to 108% but does nothing), you can slide it but will still hit PWR performance cap at 200w regardless and won't go over not matter what I try. I'm not sure if this is Bios issue or afterburner issue, but it doesn't...
The fuma 2 is suppose to be in same ball park as the D15 but cheaper. The D16 is suppose to be out this year but looks like early 2022 now, I'm hanging on for that.
That half coverage put me right off the F34
Can't remember exactly but think it was the dual core e2160 1.8ghz overclocked to 3.2ghz, ran it for years like that, pretty sure half this forum did this back then. Cost less than 50quid I think.
I don't know anything about TVs but need to get something and will be hooked up to my PC.
What sort of money are you looking at for a TV with proper 120hz/4k and variable refresh.
Cheers
To fix mouse left and right you don't need to delete whole folder, just delete lines that say ConceptYaw in them as someone suggested but it screws up Heli controls, can't turn left now with mouse in heli (I swopped roll with yaw), only right, deleted cache and rebound still broke.
AK with...
I think this everyone's a winner (hide the leaderboard) crap is here to stay in gaming, has to be a conscious decision to be more inclusive to all skills levels and not to put off new players, at a glance kills and assists look the same so you can have the illusion you are having a great time...
Can I install win 11 on 2nd drive and it pick up the same key tied to my hardware and have dual boot win10 and 11?
Or do I need to install win 10 and upgrade it, but will that make my single key win 11 only and my win 10 install not registered?
Thanks
