I was using this board and CPU before sidegrading to Skylake, and can confirm Windows shows a much higher frequency that it was actually running at, no issues observed from this. I am almost certain it used to show correctly, perhaps an update changed this.

Didn't try them as planning an M.2 SSD soon, used normal ports 3+ instead. May be worth further investigation.
