If its not a lot of hassle unistall the drivers create a new windows profile install the drivers OEM drivers and try from the new profile if that solves ur issue just move everything to that profile
id just put an SSD In the thing probly 128-256 gb one . i still have my old core 2 duo machine by the way and its still able to game and its still very responsive after i upgraded it with an ssd so you can get away with it at the moment
1. try another driver version
2. what motherboard do you have ? this card pull a lot of power from the mobo
3. i always had amd cards they always seemed fine. wells there will be always be a bad card
