Yeah I might as well, it's been over a year but it's worth a try.
So I've still not had any black screens or unexpected shutdowns, just the screen flickering like before. Today I put the PC to sleep and when I woke it up, it started flickering like crazy. Restarted and it went way...not sure if...
Yup. After I re-seated the CableMod 12VHPWR cable a week ago now, I have had 0 black screens. Had the PC running for many hours at a time, 14 one day and not one un-scheduled shutdown. I changed nothing else, apart from the already changed settings that didn't help. I still get the occasional...
Slight update.
The black screen got worse again and was outta control, PC was unusable...before messing around with more settings (that I doubt would do much anyway) I dug out my GTX1650 too see if it would lose signal.
After using the PC as I normally would for a couple of days I noticed no...
I see there's been many replies and good suggestions so I will provide more info on my set up as it was:
I am using one of the first CableMod 12VHPWR to 3x8Pin cables, PSU is a 1000W. I know the PSU is more than enough as I confirmed it with a power meter and I don't really OC my PC these days...
PS looking at the event viewer, just before an "unexpected shutdown", some things I see:
WHEA-Logger:
A corrected hardware error has occurred.
Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)
Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1:0x0

Been having this issue for a week or two now.
PC randomly loses video signal and screen goes dark. PC is still running but there's no way to get the display to work and there's no user input anymore, unless I reboot. Can happen weather playing a game or watching YT or just idling at desktop...
2.6K is what I paid. I don't even know what the MSRP is supposed to be, it's not law so it is what it is but I just wanted one, take my money! They're up on the Bay for like 1K over that...
Been awaiting the 4090 ROG Strix White Edition since ASUS announced that they were releasing them but with no ETA I was losing my mind waiting for it. Then suddenly OCUK dumped a whole lot of 4090 ROG Strix White Editions, it must have been around 6PM yesterday because I already had one by...
Yeah, I had to wait the full 150 and then went again and it works...and the checkout was as smooth as butter, it just took my money lol. Beats spending an hour plus on here where they don't want your money LOL
I'm not even sure if I'm one of the 300 losers who will get theirs in November!
Congrats! I think it depends 14:00-18:00 maybe? DPD is hands down the best, most flexible service I've used. Mr. Competitor uses DPD too and I get stuff the next day right when they say. Most important thing is it's on it's way!
They obviously oversold...I tried for over an hour to checkout and pay but the site kept crashing and giving dumb errors.
When I paid there was still around 10 variants in stock....for at least 10 mins.
I got no shipping update yet so I guess I'm one of the 300 losers who will get nothing till...
OMFG...took me over an HOUR to pay. What I didn't do to try and give them my money LOL had a Strix in my cart but sold out while I was trying to get thru...just went with a bottom of the barrel Trinity and saved a few hundo and I love the way it looks. As long as it's quiet, I'm cool with it...
38GL950G is a 3840x1600@175Hz panel.
But when I make a custom 3440x1440 preset in NV control panel, I can't go over 60Hz...
The 2560x1440 selectable resolution doesn't have this issue.
I am looking for a 27''+ 1920x1080 IPS ~4ms monitor, preferably with speakers, with a feature that lets you display any resolutions/aspect ratio like: 480p, 720p, 1280X1024...basically anything below native monitor resolution and only those pixels will display, instead of the image filling the...
As above, does overclocking have any effects on warranty with places like OCUK and others?
And if bought from them, do you have to deal with third party or can you contact the manufactured if there is a possible problem?
