I have this card, it is relatively cool. There is a plenty of thermal headroom. If air intake for GPU is not blocked on front, you will be fine.

I've upgraded from 1070 to 3060 Ti. It is a significant upgrade, especially regarding to DLSS 2.0 and Ray Tracing features. For Destiny, in my opinion, it is not worth it at scalper prices. For future games and at MSRP - absolutely worth it.

I did it a few times. I think you simply remove GPU and plug HDMI or DisplayPort cable into the motherboard. Onboard graphics will be activated automatically. Otherwise you would not be able to see POST, BIOS, etc. to change settings.
