How does the handling compare to Apex (especially without assists)? If it's more or less the same I might just bite the bullet, as much as I resent paying over £40 for a game.
Have encountered a really annoying bug. After entering the 'secret rave' the dance music loop kept playing infinitely no matter how far I went away from the area. I tried restarting the game and this didn't resolve the issue. I took the metro which did appear to resolve the issue, but then a...
Have to admit I'm not familiar with the negative LOD bias setting but I see the huge improvement on reflections on that example there. Is there much performance impact?
Edit: Noticed huge improvement in stuttering by ticking exclusive full screen, frame rate hasn't actually improved (still average of 50fps at 1440p) but stuttering is significantly less noticeable. Give it a shot if you haven't.
Just in case you're doing it wrong, you don't start on the one that's highlighted blue but on one of the grey faded ones connecting to it (apologies if you have been doing this).
I think that it's quite good. On the in game benchmark I got 50fps average (min. 40 fps) with these settings, no MSAA:
The game does look very pretty indeed. Bear in mind it's not a fast paced shooter so 60fps isn't quite essential. I'll probably turn off contact hardening but overall it's...
I didn't, which is why I mentioned the vintage. For my money I'd buy the Bollinger however.
Champagne cost is marked up considerably based on marketing, brand strength and exclusivity. The most expensive Champagne I've had is a £500 bottle of Cristal Rose (I wasn't paying thankfully!) which...
GTA V (single player)
9.5/10
+ Huge, varied sandbox environment, even having played over 200 hours you can easily find something of interest every session
+ Superb graphics, huge improvements made over original console version particularly implementation of first person view, in general...
My plan is (assuming the game is as good as HR) to complete it first shortly after release, then complete it again with non-violence on the Directx 12 release. With a bit of luck ultra will be more manageable with DX12 / Pascal card but could go both ways as poster above said.
I would say so. Can't comment on that particular vintage but Bollinger Grande Annee 1997 is easily the best champagne I've ever tasted, I preferred it even to Krug.
Going by that I'm pretty confident I'll be able to play on high at 1440p with the 1070. Probably get away with putting a few settings at ultra e.g. texture quality, texture filtering, screen space reflections. I think what's largely killing the framerate at ultra is probably the 4x MSAA.
