The 3070ti on paper uses approx 30% more power (290W vs 220W) than a 3070, pretty ridiculous really when you consider the modest performance gains

Yeah that's the conclusion I've come to, I've got 2 seperate cables both with 2 connectors on so I'll just use the 2 seperate cables and hopefully provided the 650W is enough it should be fine I don't plan on overclocking the GPU Cheers

Ok so the PSU is a MWE GOLD 650 V2 full modular, apart from that I don't have a clue lol. It's got a cable with 2 connectors labelled PCI-E at the end in the box though.

Would a 650W gold coolermaster PSU be sufficient for a 3070ti Fe or do I need to upgrade my PSU?

How did you cancel and did you get immediate confirmation of the cancellation as my understanding was you could request an order to be cancelled but it takes a few days and isn't guaranteed to be approved?

Is the screen res and 16:10 ratio of the pro more important than the gpu though? Is a pro rtx 3060 a better option than a non pro 3070 especially considering the pro 3060 can be bought for about £300 less? Does it ultimately come down to how often you'll be using the laptop hooked up to a 1440p...

Right folks, pro 5800H/RTX 3060 , uhd+ screen for about £1k or non pro 5600H/RTX 3070 with fhd screen for £1299. Or wait for pro 5800H/rtx 3070 for probably £1499 Honestly can't make my mind up. I just feel like I need to get the 3070 for decent framerates on a 1440p monitor, am I right there or...

There's also the option of the 5600H/rtx 3060 with the fhd screen (165hz) and RGB keyboard etc for £935 from Lenovo right now , ships in more than 6 weeks though but that's a good price. Not a 3070 though or pro though....
