Yeah, I have tried everything, It does it even with just the water block attached and no I/O plate or back plate...........That's just the four screws around the GPU die..
I was going to try washers on the standoffs but that would probably cause bad contact from Die to water block..
Hi All,
So I have just purchased this GPU water block from Overclockers to add to my CPU loop and I am having some strange issues.
Basically my card is dead while using this block, I have spent seven hours building and re-building to no avail, I have checked every screw and every thermal pad...
I must say it stung the bank a bit when I purchased the 2080ti FE and stuck an EK water block on it for my custom loop but DAMN...…Overclocked while running around 50 degrees C this thing is a BEAST!!!!!
Yes its taking longer than expected to get the RTX support on games, but at the end of the...
It really is that green, I think my batch might be nuclear waste in a bottle
This is exactly what i used:
Mayhems Ultra Pure H20 800ml
Mayhems Pastel - UV Green Concentrate 250ml

Thanks for the comments everyone.
You can definitely tell when a game has been optimized for SLI properly, GOW4 and Far Cry 5 should be a benchmark for SLI gaming as they run like a dream on my system, both running in full ultra detail and 1440p in the 170/180fps range.
Make sure to keep TAA...
I have now tried this and no difference, I have been digging around on the net and it looks like I am not alone when it comes to EK GPU waterblocks and coil whine, especially on the Strix, it looks like the design of the block makes for good acoustic and amplifies the noise.
Think I will drain...
Hi,
I'm not going to be any help here but I would just like to say I have recently EK waterblocked both my Strix 1080's in SLI and they are now signing like crazy, as soon as I start any game or benchmark they start, it does get better if I lower the FPS but never goes away completely and let's...
