These cards are not worth overclocking thats it! trying to max out the card will also affect frame times potentially. Nvidia just took out all the fun GPU boost works fine. +350 on the memory and you good to go!

I Think you can post here, we just trying to see some differences regarding TI´S but if not well! I never touched voltage just ramped the fans to max and set memory to +400 with stock rpm fans would probably hit around 63c

Amp Extreme is a cracking card, beefy cooler, vrm circuit. seems like a good buy to me even though performance will not be any different for the most part. love to try one out :)

:) Sure i know, just wanted to try and explain some things, reviews are all but i rather have some real life experience with actual people who own and use there card every day. but this coile whine business is messy, not all cards will be the same and many people just dont care too.

The reviews dont test for coile whine under the right conditions or do not mention that often because all cards will have different "whine" and the manufactures say its "normal" they do not consider coile whine as defective or bad parts. for what ever reason its pretty difficult to tighten...

Its not poor components per say, they coiles just are not tight enough with electrical vibration and the TI´S EXTRA WATTS she sings like a cat :D

One card does not mean all cards will have the whine issue , my case was a bit extreme so i had no choice. wait and see what happens no point in cancelling IMHO

Returned the strix due to excessive coile whine, testing the Msi and much better, there is some but much better then the Asus model, coile whine really ****** me off though, great cards but to much current passing through but i will keep the Gaming X much better fans too. I liked the Strix but...
