Just my 5 cents, dont bother, even with watercooling cpus are hittin crazy temps, same with the gpus, water or air doesnt really matter, just use the money for better parts.

Even with water the temps are ridiculous these days, if everything is working as it should dont worry about the temps

Aint nobody gonna RMA it because those 0.1mm thick fins are bent, just correct them if ur OCD this doesnt have any effect on cooling, is irrelevant. It`s like hey my cpu coolers box had a tiny scratch on it, I need RMA..

As long as you are ok with routing all the cables to where you are going to use the pc it`s a fine option, you can run the fans/pumps at whatever speeds and get great temps without all the noise.

how does the 7800x3d have the same issue if it pulls half the power?

delid it and direct die cool it with a custom loop, or if u cant be bothered sell it and buy a 7800X3D and cool it with whatever 20 euro cooler

If you are looking at immersion check out the 42C2 you can use it as ultrawide 3840x1600 if you cant hit the desired frames @ 4k or even 1440p doesnt matter, it does it all. And it doesnt cost ridiculous ammounts either.

Have you actually tried using OLED for your text work ? I have been using 55" OLED as main monitor since 2019 for everything, and I cant complain. Maybe it`s not as bad as you think it is?

Der8auer should check out two b660 boards that should allow clocking nonK chips in a day or two, might grab one for testing if they work on normal boards too, dont see the point in paying 700€ for z690 apex or smth to OC a 175€ chip.

Whats up with cinebench 23 is there no way to run the test once and get your result ? Why is it looping like 10 times?

Never had any problems with my b550F wifi from asus, with 5900x and 4*8GB ram even works on 4400 but i run it on 3600C14 daily no real reason I got this specific model just it was on sale for a good price, and never had any issues with asus boards either had lots.
