Ideal driving wheel + pedals for 6yr old ( and especially me!)

I had a few bits and bobs gathering dust in the loft so took them down to The exchange place for the G29. I then purchased a foldable racing stand. It certainly was good and made playing racing games easier. It’s now gathering dust after only one month of use. I’m certainly glad I did not...

Since you have both, are you likely to get rid of the pro or use it even less? I have the pro and currently contemplating buying the Q3 so wondering if its really worth it or just stick with the pro

Ideal driving wheel + pedals for 6yr old ( and especially me!)

Hi all, I am about to buy a racing wheel for my 6yr old to use with the ps4. Initial I was thinking of something cheap well under £100. I then started to think I could want to play as well especially since I have a Quest 2 & Quest pro!. I started looking only to realise that there are some...

Intel i5 1135G7 vs AMD Ryzen 5 4500U which is better?

Its a DELL Inspiron 15 5000 laptop. The AMD version comes comes with a 3 Cell battery vs 4 Cell on the Intel so safe to assume that the bigger battery on the intel is to match the longer battery life on the AMD.

thanks guys. I think due to close performances, I'll go with the intel version

Intel i5 1135G7 vs AMD Ryzen 5 4500U which is better?

I am about to buy a laptop. Same price and spec except that one comes with an intel i5 1135G7 CPU and the other comes with AMD Ryzen 5 4500U CPU. The only difference I can see (apart from the discreet GPU brand) is that the AMD comes with a 3 cell battery while the Intel comes with a 4 Cell...

Ultra wide screen Monitor IPS or VA Panel?

@arc@css, I did consider the one in your link, but that price will probably mean stumping up more to get the Alienware. The MSI 343 CQR is a VA. I wanted an IPS panel since I never got on the the TN G-Sync panel on my Alienware laptop for watching videos

    Iiyama GB3461WQSU-B1 - Flat 34" 1440 144HZ 1MS IPS Freesync for <£400

thanks Zola25. I just had another thought. How is the even cheaper monitor IIYAMA PROLITE XUB3493WQSU IPS 75Hz at £330? If this is just as good then maybe the cheaper one since I won't be making use of the higher refresh's rate anyway.

    Iiyama GB3461WQSU-B1 - Flat 34" 1440 144HZ 1MS IPS Freesync for <£400

Finally decided to either buy this or the Dell P3421W (which is 60hz). Unfortunately the Dell does not have as much (non dell website ) reviews to give a balanced view. How good are the PIP & PBP features of this monitor? Will the text be clear at 50-60cm sitting distance from the screen ...

Ultra wide screen Monitor IPS or VA Panel?

After as much research as I can do, I decided that I would stick to a 34" IPS ultra widescreen. This seems to be the best size and height for my seating position and desktop area. I narrowed down to 2 price ranges. Either I go guns blazing to an expensive monitor where the Gaming aspects are...

Ultra wide screen Monitor IPS or VA Panel?

It’s a shame shops are not open so i can see what they actually look like in real life. I am currently using the dining table as my workspace since the mrs has commandeered the spare room for hers. A 43” does look completely out of place on the table but i guess so would a 32” A better...

Ultra wide screen Monitor IPS or VA Panel?

Thanks very much for the panel and size comparisons. I think I am sold on a 4k monitor. It would be nice to find one that is slightly less than 43". If I divide the screens into 2 side by side sections, are all these monitors capable of enlarging those sections individually? e.g. I could have...

Ultra wide screen Monitor IPS or VA Panel?

Hi all, I am in need of a 34" or 43" untrawide screen monitor to replace my current dual screen setup which is a 15" laptop and 24" hp monitor. I don't play pc games so that should not be a factor in my decision. Main uses are for (applications) development, meetings, reading, browsing and...

Quest 2 Virtual Desktop Performance Thread

I did something similar 16yrs ago with cat7 when passing video over LAN was a thing.
