    DDR4 - 16 to 32gb

Hello! I'm currently running 16gb of DDR4 And I'm looking to whack in another 16gb. Is it worth scrapping the 16 I've currently got and buy 2x16gb, or should I just buy another 2x8 and have 4x8 in total? Do they also need to be the same brand/speeds for efficiency? If anyone has any...

Does the Nikon D7100 still hold up in 2021?

Thanks very much for the tip! If there was a mirrorless camera that was an equivalent to a D7100, what do you think it'd be? By equivalent i'm meaning cost wise similar (new vs new) mid-range sort of one

Does the Nikon D7100 still hold up in 2021?

Ah that's an interesting link, thank you very much! Was sort of planning a 300mm so the two options there look suitable. From what I can tell, it's just a case of VR would be permanently on the whole time? And the camera would need to be on the latest firmware too?

Does the Nikon D7100 still hold up in 2021?

Hey all! I'm looking to expand my horizons in photography and push into Wildlife and Sports photography rather than landscapes. To do that, I need to purchase a longer zoom lens as currently the max my lenses go up to are 120mm. Would you recommend buying a new camera whilst I'm in the market...

*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

Ah alright not too bad then. I'd only seen Virgin Media charging £62, so I'm sure there's alternatives around. I'll take a look - ta!

That's utterly bonkers, I can only dream of that at the moment. Fastest possible speed around me is 70mb/s, and we're stuck on 35 currently, which as I said only translates to 3-4 ish One day.. Edit: Turns out I can get it in my area, I just can't afford it hahah

*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

Bloody hell, what's your overall download speed if your origin download is 70+mb a second?! I can only get 3-4!

Rather against the flow in this particular tread, but I'm actually fairly happy with the Seasons/Years system rather than Premium systems. It allows me to give extra money to games that are good and I enjoy whilst also having new maps and weaponry added for free, rather than premium where you...

Help required! CMOS battery slot loose?

Okay, I seem to be in business. Its remembered the settings for three reboots and it's just electrical taped in place. Thanks for the help :) If it decides to die on me again is it a case of new battery holder or who new motherboard you reckon?

Help required! CMOS battery slot loose?

Do you think electrical tape would be better than sellotape?

Help required! CMOS battery slot loose?

Hmm I've just turned it on and went into bios and have had a warning that the bios has been reset. That's slightly concerning

Help required! CMOS battery slot loose?

Thanks for the guidance :) Would sellotape be an option or is that a no go?

Help required! CMOS battery slot loose?

Morning all! In attempting to remove a stubborn m.2 drive standoff a few moments ago, my clumsy hands hit the CMOS battery holder and it detached from the mother board. As you can see from the following video it is now slightly loose and not firmly attached to the motherboard. Have I just...

Thought that would be the case - I'll have a chat with my mate and judge his thoughts. Thanks!

    PC Build - Mainly gaming - £700-800

Hi all! I'm looking to persuade my mate off of buying the PS5 and to instead invest in a PC to turn him to the dark side. He said he's happy to spend around £700-800. Since I bought my PC, AMD seem to now be the more expensive option with Intel being cheaper in the mid range, but I think I'd...
