    Iphone 5s factory restore problem

I am connecting the phone with Itunes and I was able to hit restore..the restore starts and I wait a fairly long time while it seems to be restoring...at the end the error message comes up stating the device could not be found...even though it was already found and started the restore. I have...

    I9 9900k

Yes I think it's a no brainer when you take the fact of the AM4 support for the next few years. Dam why would I think of Intel when AMD is on my side LOL!!

    I9 9900k

I'm just not sure what to do with my next upgrade, as I save hard for it and need it to last. 4 cores does me for now but for how long i'm not sure. I have 3 kids so money is not something I can be stupid with. I guess I will have to wait as long as I can to see what the next best move would be...

    I9 9900k

Will these i9 chips last for a few years or are they going to die in a few months. I ask this beacuse of a few reasons, like the fact that they were rushed to get out without a lot sooner than expected. Also they have packed 8 cores into a space only made for 4-6 cores like they have been making...

    2700X, dodgy temps??

Good point there I got a Noctua NH-15D as my case had enough room, but I was lucky that it fit my motherboard and only just. The second fan has to be pulled a little higher than the first as the ram is in the way. Not only that but I dont think I can put another 2 ram sticks in the other slots...

    Safe VRM voltage.

The reason I am asking this is beacuse a 3+2 lets say @1.4v might not be as cool, long lasting or stable as a 5+3 @1.4v on a better motherboard.

How far on average can you push a GPU? And what difference would you see?

I have been told most GPU's can be ocerclocked by about 10-15% if they have good cooling built in. But just like CPu's you have to count on getting a good one as not all are the same ( sillicon lotto).

    Safe VRM voltage.

Hi, I have a Gigabyte G1. sniper z170 motherboard and was wondering how much can I overvolt my VRM's. It's not the best board for overclocking as it has 3 VRM's down the side and 4 across the top. I think this is a 3+2 but I'm not sure as 2 on the right hand side are for the RAM. If I am wrong...

    PSU for new 1080

Some PSU's offer 10 years warranty so it might be best to just go for that brand even if its not the one you like.

    Replacement for 3770k

I have a 6600k that I clocked to 4.6Ghz and a GTX1060 6Gb that runs fine. But I tried putting the 6600k back to stock clock to see if it made a difference. I could not tell in games and only noticed a 25% speed boost in video encoding. So I have left it at stock speed now as its good enough for...

Need advice on motherboard/case for my old PC

I have the Pro M case and its very good for the money. It is even wide enough to take my Noctua NH15-D cooler and that is the biggest you can get. Plenty of room for everything you need and very good airflow too.

Mainboard advice for Ryzen 5 2600X

MSI seem to be the better boards for this chipset as they have been tested and seen to use less power and have lower VRM heat output. A video on youtube by Hardware unboxed shows Gigabyte and ASUS loose to MSI and Asrock. I was shocked as I love Gigabyte and ASUS motherboards, I even have a...

    6-pin to 8-pin for Nvidia 1080

Make sure they are in tight as I have had one burn out on me that was a little loose in the socket. This was on my old pc and was melting the plastic around the pins. I thought I could smell something and took no notice, but a few days later the pc stopped working. I found that the plug was not...
