Good morning all, So i have just been given an Asus X370 Crosshair VI Hero motherboard and read online that the early versions of the BIOS on here supported PCIE 4.0 I do not know what version of BIOS it is on currently but is it possible to downgrade if needed and does anyone know the latest...

Hi All, Is anyone aware of any delays with the order processing / having a hard time getting their kit delivered? I ordered on Saturday 28th November and as of today (1st Dec) It's still saying Order received - not yet shipped.

I think the original plan was to stop people signing up and just doing a load of random pointless posts etc.

Thanks for the reply. I very seldom game and it's a majority of my time working on photography and general workstation loads. I think i might have to keep my eyes open for some VA panels and get the best bang for the buck rather than pining over panel type.

At our office we have 5.53tb of RAM in our virtual environment and are using 2.38tb We have several data arrays but a lot of this capacity is taken up by Developer VMs and SQL. We do have 2 TS boxes but those are only using 32gb each. (I can't see how to attach an image)

One reason you may want a lot of RAM is for SQL servers in VMWare / Hyper-V. They tend to use as much as you can give them.

Whilst i love instant gratification, sometimes the results from longterm are much better!

I had a scary moment with my AIO having an airlock and temps were at 87C at idle!

I was kind of toying with changing my 970s (SLI) to single card and ended up with 980TI

I think it's pointless to go gddr6 for this case. Just any GDDR5 card would be best.

I think bringing in compromise is always best. My parents both worked past retirement age, they got bored so went back to work haha!

I have to say i'm not a fan of the design of the cosmos. Looks like the outer front is very buldgy and not sure on the dimples either.
