    Are you using a dns name, or an IP to monitor the connection? I had the same issue with a dynamic DNS.

    When I was with Vodafone FTTP the routing was terrible, they connected me on an Edinburgh gateway, when I’m in Cheshire. Increases the latency quite a bit for no reason when there was a Manchester gateway…

    We’ve just had Zzoomm installed. It works great, and the guys who installed it have done a really tidy job. To answer my own previous question above, it is not CG NAT.

    To the current Zzoomm users: I'm aware that Zzoomm offers a static IP for £9.95 a month, but could you confirm if there's also a provision for dynamic IP addresses or if they utilize CG NAT for public IPs?

    It’s still restrictive. You cannot change the DNS or split the Wi-Fi frequencies, for starters. However, it was generally reliable.
