I wonder if there's a market for USB rechargeable heated gloves, they work better than heated grips.

    Virtual Mac?

Yep. You'll need to get the installer off a real Mac (Or... ahem... sail the seven seas...) but apart from that it works in all major virtualisation suites.

I had one dead pixel on my MacBook....

My 2011 MBP's onboard video card failed, they replaced it with a brand new (at the time) 15" 2016 model as they didn't have any 2011 logic boards left. Which got promptly sold on eBay... Can't complain with that.

    Which laptop would you suggest?

ZBooks or HP's in general? Don't confuse HP retail with HP business.

Those overtakes seemed safe enough. Dammit Yeah but... if you're monitoring the situation correctly, it's still enough time to get the job done. Try that on a 125, you'd think it's safe but by the time you're half way through the overtake, a mile has elapsed... Yep, but they're way easier...

    Biker's Cafe Chatroom

Yep, but there's a limit to that. You could debate that having an abundance of power enables you to overtake quickly even when you're in the wrong gear or off the power band, but you kind of know and are in the right gear without thinking when you're in traffic looking to overtake anyway.

We're comparing F4i's to Tuenos here, not CB400's to Tuenos. MT10's to Tueno's technically... My first "bigger" bike was an NC31!

    Biker's Cafe Chatroom

I can read fine. And I get it, a faster bike overtakes faster than a slower one. But... I've done 100k km's on an F4i, an old arse 600 from 15 years ago. It would still demolish anything 4 wheeled on the road these days - Standard it'll do an 11 second quarter mile. Once you've assessed the...

    Hmm it's changed. It's based on the speed now... 20 km/h = 2.8 metres 26 km/h = 4.4 metres 21 km/h = 3.0 metres 27 km/h = 4.8 metres 22 km/h = 3.2 metres 28 km/h = 5.0 metres 23 km/h = 3.6 metres 29 km/h = 5.6 metres 24 km/h = 3.8 metres 30 km/h = 5.8 metres 25 km/h =...

Good luck handling a Tueno if you can't even overtake safely on something that doesn't have 8 million hp  Hell I can lift the front end of the MT07 in 3rd if you're in the powerband... How much more power do you need than that? So much you have the feather the overtake?

Ah in Australia it's an emergency stop, you have 20 metres to stop, every metre past the line is an extra "point" You get 5 points, any more than that is a fail... includes if you put a foot down during the U turn, missing a cone on the weave, not doing a head check when taking off, etc

Both locking the rear wheel and stoppies are quite acceptable in Australia, with locking the rear wheel in the event of the emergency stop being talked about in the initial briefing as something not to worry about due to the ease of it happening with weight transfer etc, as applying the rear...
