There’s no way your centre lock is loose, it has a locking pin inside the cover. Could be pad knock back but you’d probably feel a vibration too tbh. Brakes good otherwise, power and feel?
We need pics of the car! Used to have a gts
Interesting times and the interest rates are obviously having an effect on luxury purchases. In reality though I’ve lost far more on normal cars over the years than the Porsche and it’s fairly non issue over five years etc. it’s only the flippers getting burned right now as the market goes back...
The GTS is a great car, but wouldn’t rule out a 991.1 either. I’ve owned mine for five years and it gives nothing away to the later .2 variant in the real world. a bit easier to live with as a DD but not as rewarding imho. You need to *drive* the .1 whereas you can surf the torque in the .2. I’m...
Wow, not a good day! Worst kind of issue when you park it up all working and come back and it’s broke without turning a wheel! That and the Alfa door issue too.
Ha, we spoke about that clarkson comment about not being a true petrol head until you’d had an Alfa at the biddulph meet a couple of months back. If you were really brave you’d get a really old one like mine lol. :D
Glad you like it, they are great fun and pretty practical.
Agreed on those options, but i'd say that not all OPCs are perhaps equal in respect of prep.... when i was looking there was a tendency for them to rectify issues only if you brought it up during the process tbh. Cant imagine thats any different now. I think the best option is finding a indie...
If you’ve not already got it, here’s a link to the original brochure showing what’s standard vs options etc.

Having owned one for a few years…. I’d say sunroof is essential, it’s really good on a sunny day. You haven’t listed the gts interior pack but I’d say that is essential too. It’s just not a gts otherwise. I’d also move the led lights with the four led drl’s to be essential as it looks loads...
Interesting your finding some RS cars with engine replacement too as I thought the major issue on 991.1 GT3 engines was resolved before the RS model was introduced. Those 12-13 model year GT3 cars are now quickly approaching their 10 year birthday and that 10 year warranty porsche put on them is...
.1 is already near enough a modern classic. They fetch strong money for a reason. The soundtrack is so so much better than the .2, which sounds like an overgrown Subaru and doesn’t have the howl of the NA car. Love mine.
