OK? Did you want me to make you feel better for taking that offer? This is the 'Sky TV Cancellation & Negotiation' thread after all, not the 'Virgin Deal Congratulatory & Feel Good Thread'.
Well done I guess, with that saving Virgin are offering you, you'll be able to buy a car and fill it at...
Fair enough.
Do you negotiate when you shop at ASDA, Tesco, Sainsburys? Do you negotiate when you order something online from Amazon or M&S? Do you negotiate when you fill up your car at BP? Do you negotiate with your taxi driver or when you're buying your train ticket? Do you negotiate with...
It's a very good discount on the full price. Whether you're savvy enough or abuse the system enough to get something better, is a different discussion.
If you do want to give it another go, ask to speak to BB retentions, explain the situation to them and why you need the static IP, and ask the advisor to speak to their supervisor even. If need be, ask to speak to the supervisor yourself and explain the situation again. They may have a discount...
You can try. Not sure of any specific or extra discounts for existing 1 TB customers upgrading to the newer box. Worst that will happen is that they will ask you to pay for the installation of the new box, which is £25 I think.

dcsarge, I don't know if you got BB Boost from Sky for wifi guarantee. If you did, it would issue you with the 4.2 router, which is a beast (at least in my experience).
You also complained about the deal you got, so I'd suggest you give them a call and ask to speak to TV retentions because you...
Yes. The 1TB box can now also support 2 mini boxes and UHD (not sure about voice control yet tbh, will find out) so it leads me to believe Sky are now offering the same box with different HDDs (1TB vs 2TB).
I've kind of stopped commenting here because sometimes it feels a little too much like work, but in my books, this is a very good offer. It's a winback offer, Retentions do not have UOD for £3.
I would personally take it because the full price for everything is £92, but ultimately you decide.
