Things have obviously moved on a LOT since I last had to make use of high bandwidth dedicated servers. The pricing on a dedicated Gigabit port would normally be around $1000 from what I remember, it's a great deal if it lives up to what they're advertising. Having a quick look, it seems that...
For that sort of price it would likely be a shared unmetered 100Mb/s line shared between probably 10+ servers. From experience I got around 3TB-4TB a month of bandwidth on a similar set-up. It would be worth asking how many servers will be sharing the line, you may only get an average of ~10Mb/s...
Does anyone know what song is played during episode 4 of Blood, Sweat and Takeaways, available on iPlayer here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00l2gww/Blood_Sweat_and_Takeaways_Chicken/ between times 30:39 and 31:30 it is played again from 50:58. I'm not sure if its a song composed...
Maybe a bit of a long shot but i don't suppose anyoe knows how to open one of these monitors or hsa a service manual or similar for it. The vga cable has come loose and i need to touch up the connections on the PCB, i know of all the hazards involved, just need to know how to open the case...
I had the same problem as well, okayed fro a while on an offline profile getting gamer points and achievements then when it came to create/upgrading to a Live account the name was take so i had to create a new one and had to start again. Best bet is to start with a Live profile even if you don't...
I had the same problem. All i remember doing was setting the Xbox to get IP via DHCP and ensuring UPnP was enabled on the router, then restarting it. I went from strict to Open then.
Does anyone have a general idea of what time shops are open till today and if they are open tomorrow, if so what times. I'm talking about the likes of Next and Boots etc... Thanks
You could trying giving OpenDNS servers a go, they are sort of "community maintained" and are worth a try, they could end up better than your current DNS servers.
It seems there is/was a problem with demand on Live for movie downloads, so that could be the reason for your slow speeds. http://us.gizmodo.com/gadgets/home-entertainment/i-was-mugged-by-the-xbox-360-video-store-216898.php
Same here. Very good value for money and file format/codec support is better than a lot of PC playback software i've used. As mentioned no tuner / PVR function is the only downside, although i don't require this so doesn't affect me much.
Hopefully Microsoft will have the serial numbers of the consoles in the shipment and when they sign on to Live they will be tracked. Of course if they don't sign on to Live that could be a problem
I think that drive is probably your best bet, it seems very good value for money when compared to other drives, the 320GB version of the drive is ~£70 whereas the 400GB is ~£110 and the 5 year warranty from Seagate is good to have. I have the SATAII version and it's been running fine for a few...
It could be that you may have misaligned one of the pins in the RAM slot itself, especially if you were using a small flat headed screw driver. You could also have a look in the slots themselves for any small pieces of plastic which may be lodged in there and stopping contact.
Although it is not usually recommended, I've used nail varnish remover that was lying around the house in the past. Most nail varnish remover is said to contain additives, colourings etc... but I've had no problem using it with this CPU that has been running flawlessly for 1-2 years. If you...
