Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

If he's only done 3 missions, he probably hasn't unlocked the support team yet.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Another quick tip, which isn't immediately obvious - Every big enemy base will have a bunch of radio hardware stacked on a table somewhere (identified by the blue lights). Blow these up, along with the small radars, and enemy HQ comms will be disabled there, meaning no reinforcements if you...

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

I think it's either a bug, or it's there to help people who aren't great at stealth / want to go full rambo. If you're going full stealth it only really helps at night anyway (by knocking out the power which kills the lights). Killing the big and little radars let your chopper land in the...

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Another tip - Blow up radars (big and small) and power supplies if you can. The enemies obviously have an engineer shortage as these get taken out of action permanently, making future missions in that area a lot easier :)

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

A quick tip for extra heroism - when you're taking out enemies up close, do a hold-up (+5 heroism) then grab and interrogate using both options (2x +5 heroism). It helps recover the heroism you lose if you get discovered (which is -10 or -30 iirc).

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Your progress stays; some of the objectives you can't even complete first go because you need equipment you acquire later. Once you finish a mission, it reveals all the hidden objectives for it so you can replay and do the ones you missed (I think you still need to do the "main" objectives...

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Up to mission 15 on my 360 version and had confirmation of my PS4 CE delivery... Still deciding whether to finish it before starting afresh on PS4; it's so addictive! Even after Bloodborne and The Witcher 3, this still gets GOTY for me.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

It looks like I'm not getting my collector's edition until Tuesday, so I started the 360 version to sate my hunger. The fox engine really is incredible; it's so scaleable that it's running well enough even on this last gen hardware.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

I've spoken to DPD again today, and they say the method of GAME getting the parcel to them is by arranging a collection from the GAME warehouse. Which of course, GAME still hasn't done... Not happy :(

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

I think those of us who ordered the CE are disappointed, because if Game sent the delivery by royal mail like all the regular editions, we would receive the game before the release date.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Yep, I called them. It's only showing days after Tuesday because the package from Game hasn't actually arrived with them yet so they can't offer early delivery upgrade until they get it... So basically the sooner game gets it to DPD, the sooner it can be delivered!

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

I'm in the same boat with Game; if they'd dispatched with Royal Mail first class as advertised I'd have it by now! DPD have been quite helpful though. They've said once they received the package from Game I can upgrade the delivery if I want for £5... If they receive it by 7pm today I could...

    Hayfever - Thread

My combo at the moment is 1x cetrizine, 1x loratadine and 1x 180mg fexofenadine per day, with decongestants (pseudophredine) throughout the day and chlorphenamine (drowsy!) if the hayfever is really playing up. I'm still a little sneezy and snotty, but it's manageable and not crippling.

    This seems like free money

It just worked for me  You need to join up through that offer on the site; not just join up normally and put £10 on... Gave me an extra fiver for casino as well, which I just played on blackjack and now can withdraw. So only £5 down if Argentina don't win.

    The best way to resign.

Best way to resign? "Accidently" flood the signalling room of a major London tube station with quick-setting cement :D

Is it worth it doing overtime?

I'd say it's worth doing in moderation, as long as you don't burn yourself out and / or damage your health. I've finished a project last week after working insane hours for the past 4 weeks; it triggered shingles in the final few days :( Really not worth the money to suffer that.
