all X7 features discrete graphic structure, which means the panel's connected with NV graphic directly so it means there's no way that iGPU will be activated
we didn't test over mixed size combination of RAM in our lab. my opinion is that have your dual 16G first installed first to see if it's improved. If it's okay, install original dual 8G on
the heat conduction ability may get weaken if you paste too much thermal grease beween die and thermal module - this has been approved in our lab
my personal suggestion is that before re-pasting, just clean all the grease remained on the surface of die also the thermal module.
Take little new...
which game you're running with? it looks a little bit high however it may vary while running different type of game
also, if you make the repaste, do remember to paste as less grease as possible - make it looks like a super-skinny paper covered on the die
Yeah we know that and my colleague was there.......
however we've claimed it's engineering sample & the video files aren't huge enough to showcase the benefit of AI so.....we will see, when the deeper media review go public
1. detach the battery and attach it again
2. detach all RAM, try install one of it, if it works, install another one
3. additional 10~15 sec will be needed for memory size checking after boot. (and it will look as black screen also)so please be more patiently wait
Hi
I got the same point as Atom80. All of the fan policy was designed under strict test from our thermal team in order not to harm the component inside the laptop by the heat gathered by insufficient fan spin
cuz there's only one DDI injected so only one monitor will be supported on TBT3. However if you apply daisy-chain structure on monitor it could support multiple monitors - but with same screen
1. You could just run the Smart USB Backup to backup the OS IMG to USB disk, boot with it, and install the OS IMG in your new EVO drive
2. It's better to keep it I think
for my personal suggestion the performance would be better if the OS's installed into Samsung one. But before doing that DO remember to backup the IMG through Smart USB Backup
