I'm using the 1156 backplate and the pins in the correct places but none match up. Is it just meant to drop into place without too much hassle? Has anyone managed to install an H50 or H70 with a 1155 motherboard?

It was DGM. The monitor was bought in July 2008, I did contact OcUK first but they said they would only repair / replace it within the first year.

How long does it take for repairtech to assign an RMA number? They emailed back next day asking for specific info about the faults, serial number etc. I haven't heard anything from them since, it's been 8 days so far. Any ideas on how to speed it up? The monitor is now completely unusable.

If you're using MySQL and have shell access, use automysqlbackup. I've been using it for a while now and it works very well and will even email you with the status of the backup if you wish. Otherwise you could just use PHP. Although take a look around, lots of examples exist
