Does it make any difference which way a GPU is Mounted ?

Heatpipes are definitely affected by orientation. The liquid inside should flow back to the baseplate either by gravity or capilary action and evaporate there to get the heat away from the chip. If you mount a GPU as in your picture, capilary action is not strong enough to work against gravity...

Iiyama XUB2792QSU (2560x1440 IPS) - Anyone here own one?

I own this exact screen. It's okay gaming wise. It goes up to 70 Hz, official Freesync range is 48-70 Hz, I expanded it through CRU to ~34-70 Hz. Contrast is good, colours are nice. Input lag is not the lowest, around 25 ms according to prad.de. I would recommend Overdrive setting +1, because +2...

High refresh rates - what was I seeing on a 2007 TV?

    The AMD Driver Thread

Hey there, I just signed up to confirm this exact thing happening to me, too. I run a Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ with a Iiyama ProLite XUB2792QSU-B1 (27 inch 1440p screen, 48-70 Hz Freesync range, no LFC, connected via DisplayPort. Not the best, I know, but FreeSync should work nontheless). I...
