So you took the GPU apart and replaced something inside?
Is Furmark misreporting your maximum GPU clock as 2417Mhz when it should be ~2800Mhz? I presume whatever you did fixed the on GPU single fan not spinning as well.
You can see that on my GPU the fan spins when the GPU is only at 47%.
I understand you not wanting to be without the GPU for an unknown period of time but if you haven't RMA'd your GPU yet then I strongly advise you to do so as there seems to be more going on with it than just the temperamental fan.
I have the same 4090 Suprim X Liquid and barely see temps higher than 50c.
I've never actually checked to see if/when the fan on the GPU spins as temps are so good. (I'll check today)
As previously stated, normally if you so much as turn one screw by 1mm you void the warranty. As it's a few...
Yes, that article is from last year which is why I always think twice about getting anything expensive like a GPU from that place.
If I do then I do a continuous video from delivery person to opening the package, which should make going through the minefield of claiming a bit easier if there's...
O2 is unbelievably bad is so many areas I frequent. It feels like I used to get more reliable mobile internet when I used WAP!
If it wasn't for the free roaming (particularly in Switzerland and USA) and Volt doubling I would have gone with anybody else. Though with O2 recently sending me an...
1. Obtain the proof of delivery photo from DPD. It is standard policy for DPD to take one so if there isn't one then this is an issue.
I presume the photo will not be your open door.
2. Do not correspond with Amazon over the phone, send an email to their complaints department (I don't have the...
You might want to read it again (presuming you did in the first place) but the numbers mentioned by Puget were Intel faster by up to 30% in LongGOP codecs like H.264/HEVC and 10% in most other things.
In things like Processing 4K H.264 the difference is even more in Intel's favour with the...
I understand why you networking cognoscenti are down on Asus routers. :) Though to us lesser mortals we've used them for years and not had any real issues. I get excellent range on mine.
Unless you're a network guru like Rainmaker I probably wouldn't advise getting the Flint 2 just yet as it's...
Thanks and yes, I have read quite a few user reviews about people not being able to log into the servers. Might give it a couple months for things to settle down and hope it is still £25 (PC) or less but will definitely give a go. :)
:D Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
And no I paid less than £200 ;) I think OcUK are currently doing it for £200.

How was it playing solo? I imagine it's much better playing with a mate or group of mates but was wondering if it works well in solo mode.
Really like Starship troopers original movie so hoping this would give the same vibe.
A router with at least 2 x 2.5Gb ports. I'm using this one with Merlin firmware for that reason so one port from the SH5 and the other to my PC motherboard which is 2.5Gb

This is very true.
I've had the 7800X3D for several months; beautiful gaming CPU, great in so many ways though because I do much more than game, pound for pound the 13700k was a much better all round CPU for my overall usage. The fact that I could overclock it to 6.2Ghz boost meant it also...
