Running much better for me since the patch. No issues with Gsync and Vulcan.. seems smoother but that coz gsync working now I guess and no crashes to desktop either!

Defo need to rollback Nvidia driver. When paused you lose the bottom half of the screen. Enabling vsync to on or half fixed it though but not sure the impact to the game or if it disables Gsync

No you should have it turned in the control panel not the games. I have never turned on vsync in the game menu. You should need to switch it on either.

are you running it with dx12, vulcan api is more stable

For anyone using Vulcan with a gsync monitor make sure you update to the latest Nvidia driver as it appears that when using Vulcan and vsync is off in game it doesn’t enable gsync. I’ve just tested it and it’s much better with the latest driver runs much smoother. Just getting wired issue on...

Just had a loop of crashes every time I tried loading. Switched to Vulcan from dx12 and loaded straight away. I seem to get slightly worse FPS on Vulcan but at least I can play the dam thing now!

I get about 70 fps but that’s at ultra wide

Yep agreed same here!!

No crashes here, have set it to dx12 everything on ultra with no aa or vsync as have an uw gsync monitor. Only completed first two missions looks awesome so glad I waited for pc release. EDIT: just wanted to add I haven’t even checked what FPS I am getting as it really isn’t that kind of game...

same.. preordered and got the two free games.. put over 100 hours into odyssey and paid full price for that but defo feel I got my monies worth on that title.. I even got the season pass which I have never done before. If I get the same out of this then defo good value

Yep I’m in for about 120 hours and about 60% through the Atlantis dlc..

Just download oculus tray tool and use that, you don’t need batch files

Can’t you set the services to manual and use tray tool I think it was called to start the services as and when you need too. Sorry got rid of my rift sometime a go but that’s how I managed mine.
