    Halford professional socket sets

The post above the one you quoted says it was £150 on a half price sale, so £300. Halfords tools are on sale so frequently unless you require something urgently you might as well wait for the next sale. Easter might be a good time to see if any offers are on and get a real price comparison.

    1700BHP per Tonne 1000BHP K20 Turbo Atom

I can't find the video I was looking for, but this one is also a good illustration Eau Rouge at Spa F1 cars overlaid with GT cars Correct me if in wrong, but I believe a lot of supercars aren't far off F1 cars now in terms of outright speed, but miles off in terms of cornering and braking...

How am I best sorting my Windows 11 laptop ready to sell?

I presume there's nothing critical to national security on there? Unless you are massively concerned that someone is going to try to recover your data, a factory reset will be fine https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/give-your-pc-a-fresh-start-0ef73740-b927-549b-b7c9-e6f2b48d275e...

Do Air Tags count as "Is the car fitted with a tracking device?" when getting car insurance renewals?

I think it makes sense for very high end cars, often in these cases a tracker is a requirement, but not for "normal" cars.

DIY-Kitchens Planner - can you stack units?

I think you could technically do it, but you'd have to find some way to join the units (chipboard end to chipboard end) and be left with a gap half way up where the base unit has a step for the plinth. To do it properly I think you'd be best off taking the units apart and re engineering them...

    Good bulb brands

I've had some generic Bosch bulbs that were actually pretty good and very cheap at the time. They werent the fancy ones, just the "original equipment" ones on a cardboard backing.

    Sleep Apnea & Driving license

A friend had trouble sleeping at home which turned out to be sleep apnea. He didn't think he had any issues or tiredness when driving until he was driving with a passenger who informed him he was actually nodding and falling asleep for a few seconds multiple times, particularly when stopped at...

    Connecting power supplies together?

The simplest way to set this up would be a PSU (either atx with a jumper or something from an electronics store with 230v input and 12v output) and a switch for the watercooling. The general idea of having the WC equipment sperate to the pc used to be a "thing" years ago. Search for "radbox"...

    YouFibre

Currently I'm on talk talk ftc and not looking to change until my contract ends later this year, but we can get You fibre and Netomnia is "coming soon", so interested in investigating other options. Are you fibre and Netomnia the same? Strange they give different info if so! If you get a fibre...

    Pcie 1x Sata card

The safely resume drives relates to hotswap feature and isn't a problem (other than the tray icon being annoying!). If you don't need hotswap ability, the card may have different modes which may disable this feature. Eg AHCI, RAID, IDE etc

    Tyre Inflator

Which model? Is it also cordless?
  15. jellybeard999

    Tyre Inflator

https://amzn.eu/d/27SRRHq This one looks interesting. I like the idea of a cordless inflator for convenience, but only if they are able to inflate a tyre from flat. Most don't seem to have enough power to do that, but this one looks a bit beefier and claims to be capable.

At what point do you call it quits on a car?

I can understand the OP wanting a garage to do the work and not wanting coilovers. These options are not in consideration for most people for various reasons. But I can't get my head around the insistence on Volvo parts vs another quality OEM such as Eibach or Bilstein for a fraction of the...

At what point do you call it quits on a car?

£150 per spring? i.e. £600? I'm assuming you're wanting "genuine Volvo parts"? A quick google suggests you can get 4x Eibach or Bilstein springs for £200-£250, so there's a good saving if you are willing to forgo the Volvo stamp. I'm all for quality parts and wouldn't recommend you get some...

Found a mould problem in the corner of our bedroom

As above, this does sound like cold walls and condensation, but I'd still look to rectify the ground level issue you mentioned with a drainage channel, french drain or similar.

Adding a Dining Table top to a Pool Table

Is this purely as an occasional table for games etc? Or are you after something furniture quality? If it's just for hobbies, you could get some nice high quality plywood and maybe stain/oil it and add some edge banding.
