You'll all have to forgive me as my experience with overclocking is limited but nevertheless OK to an extent.
Recently upgraded my rig and am using said motherboard with a 13700K. Now default on auto sets my Actual VRM V-core to 1.322v. However i've decided to undervolt it in the hope to keep...
Recently fired up my new rig and installed MSI Afterburner for the my ASUS 4080 TUF.
Without any custom fan curve, the fans will stop at idle. However when i set the below custom curve (as i've always preferred this way especially on my 3080 TUF) the fans wont stop at idle.
The curve depicts...
Quite like the look of this one:
Phanteks Revolt 1200W ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 Modular 80 Plus Platinum Cable Free Power Supply - Black
Developed in conjunction with Seasonic. A bit more than what I require but within budget. I take it these are decent these ones?
Thanks again for your advice...
Cheers, lastly I'm seeing doubt whilst looking around regarding power supplies. I believe a 1000W platinum grade PSU should easily power a 4080/4090 with some breathing space. Not that gaming will ever push the full power from both the 40 series card and 13700k I'd say.
Thanks for the advice.
After spending some more time on this, the Zboard is more for me. I'm between these two now.
Asus ROG Strix Z790-H Gaming WIFI (LGA 1700) DDR5 ATX Motherboard
MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI (LGA 1700) DDR5 ATX Motherboard
The Asus at 16+1 power stages rated at 80A whereas...
Looks neat that Tetras, thanks.
With the board I won't need so much I/O at the rear, just something that's decent for overclocking and can accomadate front USB 3.2 and USB C. What's the difference between the B760 and Z790? I do prefere the 13700K also as that's an unlocked multiplier if I'm...
First upgrade in 5 years, my last rig was great but showing its age so i dismantled and sold it.
This is what I'm thinking. Have been out of the scene for a year.
The issue I'm having is mostly with the board. I'm looking for something around the £250 - £330 mark. Here's what i have looked at...
Finally my 3080 TUF Gaming OC has arrived! I ended up ordering from a competitor with a low queue.
Wish everyone best of luck and hope you all get your cards soon!
Mine arrived on Wednesday, only had the chance to set it up now. So far so good in terms of dead pixels etc, still messing about with it. So will update soon.
EDIT: With a further 10% discount from Dell. So was less than £300 in the end. Also, does anyone any know decent colour settings for...
I can second to the pathetic service from Dell. Called customer care last Friday. Was told my order would be expeditated for delivery today. Todays happens - Nothing. Order is from 6th Oct.
Back on to them again this afternoon. Now its a part's shortage. Bunch of liars. Where is the best place...
I bagged one before for £331.50 :D I was on the fence between that or the GW34QC. But after seeing some of the comments regarding the Gigabyte, better the devil you know. Current monitor is a Dell.
Yes especially on Jedi Master difficulty.
To me i find the exploration reminds me of the latest tomb raider series, you can revisit places and open chests etc.
I played JK2 and 3 before this to get "combat ready" should we say :p:p
Enjoying this a lot, combat is good as well as exploration.
What direction is everyone taking in regards to the skill tree? At the moment im investing in the survival tree.
