I run a 6800 (non-XT) and a 5800X on a 6-year old 650W PSU without any issues. Once that PSU goes pop, I'll probably go 850W for poops and giggles!

    Yup.

Looks about right, providing the fans are quiet at those temps.

Had no idea Halo Infinite is getting a poor performance (RT) mode.

I used the Factory Reset option with both 23.2.1 and 23.2.2 without issue. I shall now go by the name Bullet Dodger!

Got 23.2.2 on and zero dramas during installation. A shrug smiley is desperately needed here!

No problem installing 23.2.1 here. Gonna give 23.2.2 a whirl in a few minutes, see if it gives Atomic heart a boost (not that it needs it, it runs really nicely).

There's not really anything majorly important in it, maybe slight performance improvement for games released since the last main driver.

But Crossfire is dead... Repasting the card? :P

I've yet to try Cyberfunk 2069 with the new drivers but I forgot to run the bench with RT prior to installing the new drivers so I cannot be are said. I'm sure the extra frame will make a huge difference!

I can confirm I gained one big fat frame per second of performance in Forza Horizon 5 @ 2160p with Extreme/Ultra everything and no FSR with the latest driver. A whole frame!!! I'm giddy...

Essentially! Doubt I'll see that kind of performance uplift when spending less than a grand on a new card in future. Well, I might if I wait another 10 years...

I'm using it on a 144Hz 1440p monitor and, coming from a Vega 56, it's a beast. At the time I bought my card, the XT version was nearly £200 more!

Sorry, I was talking about hot spot temps, not edge temps. The highest edge temp I've seen with an OC is in the low 70's and the fans are audible but not egregious. When running stock, I've never heard the card fans over my case fans.

I've got the 6800 non-XT Pulse which I imagine has the same cooler and such. It's solidly built and keeps things cool but you will hear it over about 40/45% fan speed (though it has to be pushing over 80°C to make the fan ramp that hard). I've had the card two years now, it hasn't skipped a beat!

One strange thing I've noticed with 22.11.2 is my monitors refresh rate not sticking to 144Hz when using Edge browser or Windows Explorer. It seems to hover around 79-91Hz. Edit: That's the monitors OSD displaying the refresh rate, to clarify. EDIT V2.0: It's now behaving and running at...

I changed Windows settings to stop all Windows updates, not just drivers. I seem to run into fewer issues since I started doing that. I'll manually update every few months and will then check game performance and such to ensure none of the updates borked anything. And all of that because of...
