Might have already been posted, but Rocksmith (game you play with your guitar) is on sale for £8 - https://www.humblebundle.com/store/rocksmith-2014-edition?partner=trr
Works great with the unofficial ASIO mod installed, low latency. Personally I use a splitter pedal into my interface and VSTs...
Did a Zoolander and Zoolander 2 double bill. Really interesting re-watching Zoolander, now that it's an "old" film - feels pretty bizarre/trippy in a contemporary context, which I liked. Sequel does a good job of capturing the same vibe too but with modern subtext, which is cool.
School of hard knocks approach seemed to work well for me. Before we lived together, my partner and I had our own sourdough starters... she is pretty knowledgeable on baking... I can barely cook anything. After hers was established for a while she forgot to feed it and it went kaput. Mine...
I have ventured out in tracksuit bottoms due to COVID related slobbery, as I'm full on robinson crusoe mode right now. But I remember when I first started working from home a few years ago and went through a tracksuit bottoms comfortable working phase... it definitely strongly affected my...
I guess this is the digital version of feeling sketchy when walking past police on the street, I've just started driving lessons so checked the thread in case it was me. Thankfully not! :D
£399 for a 3070 if there is ever some kind of deal ie black friday.
£299 for a 3060 if it has similar performance increase as the rest over current gen
I'm mulling over whether to dip my toe with an AIO, only had air cooling before. Given how much the Arctic Freezer II seems to be killing it in terms of price/performance and popularity, I find it disconcerting that the warranty is only 2 years, whereas some others have 5 years. But I'm a bit...
Oh bummer, that techradar article says x570 and B550 support, I bought B450 with my 3600 this year with the hopes to upgrade the 3600 to a 4000 series.
I'm looking for optimal airflow / cooling for overclocking during gaming, that I won't need to upgrade when I upgrade my CPU / GPU etc next year. But also that is as quiet as possible when I'm using my PC to watch movies on my TV.
Currently I'm looking at the p400a mesh as the best (white)...
Definitely don't need 1k watts, watch the video! For the PSU to be efficient it needs to be operated within a certain range (50-75% of max I think?), so if you overbuy your PSU it won't be very efficient. 850w should be plenty of safety margin if you want to overclock
Lubing is the only solution, I think. Keyboard enthusiasts apparently don't like pre-lubed switches since they prefer the control of which / how much / where to lube, but on top end gaming boards where the warranty would be voided they really ought to pre-lube the switches at the factory and...
850W might be a little overkill. Corsair RM750x would be a good bet
Interesting and timely video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_wtoCBahhM&feature=emb_title
I could only download at 300KB/s for the last couple years, was a real pain!
Downloading elsewhere (installing the installer on someone elses PC) and copying the files to an external HDD to bring home and copy to same folder on my PC would mostly work for me.
But also, changing my mobile...
Hopefully the game is more geared toward creating a specific psychological tone and atmosphere rather than fancy lighting effects.
Time to black out the windows and embrace the night :D
