Nah well clear of the glass, those small 12VHPWR connectors are quite fragile so we tend to pre-bend the cables.
Sometimes we go up and across the backplate (like on the O11 below), they is no real right or wrong way, just the way that works. :)
But as you can see we are not using the included...
Yeah it's a good job, but it's not high end builds all the time.
We are also dealing with a lot of real old and slow rubbish as well lol.
But it is quite varied, one week is never like the last.
Just recently I drained off and flushed a customers loop, and blocked them up a new 3090 to...
We updated the bossman's personal rig today so I had a bit of a play around.
X670E Hero / 7950X / 4090 Strix / 1600w PRIME
With the CPU and GPU maxed out I was drawing 750w from the wall, GPU temp 63c.
Not too shabby.
The MSI B650 Carbon and Tomahawk look like they are pretty good for the price.

4 Years probably not, but with prices the way they are some may opt to keep there card for that long.
I am sticking with my 3090 Ti TUF this time around and skipping Lovelace, and that is primarily to do with prices.
I refuse to pay £1600 up to £2200 less than a year later, no frigging way...
No reason they shouldn't, overall these are probably the best quality built cards yet.
I doubt Gigabyte would offer it if they were not confident.
But it depends as well, as you wouldn't believe the state of some of the PCs I see, some people just don't know what a can of compressed air is used...
I like ASUS but their stuff has become bloody expensive which is starting to put me off them.
But the Gigabyte card does look like the business on the cooling front this time around (4 year warranty as well).
*Notice the larger fans on the Gigabyte.
*Nice open backplate, for heat blow...
We see corrupted file systems / drives in bad health all the time.
Depends how far gone they are to what can be recovered with software apps.
Sometimes a scan disk can repair the file system enough to grab a user directory.
But I have literally had drives fail on me in the middle of a...
Probably a bit of hardware it's not agreeing with.
Try temporally unplugging anything not required (USB headers, PCIe cards, secondary drives etc)
I had something similar the other day where it was stuck/hanging on 'getting devices ready' on a new AM5 build.
That turned out to a faulty wifi...
After reading the reviews I've come to the same conclusion that this is the cheapest most cost effective upgrade.
So going to buy a 5800X3D to replace the 5900X in my gaming PC tomorrow.
Then the 5900X will move over into my daily driver replacing a 3900X, and the 3900X will be sold to claw...
If AMD is serious about increasing their market share then they really need to take advantage of Nvidia's weak showing on the 12Gb imposter card.
In my opinion AMD has to get a card in-between the 4080 16Gb and 12Gb performance wise, and do it for $799, a good $100 off Nvidia's official $899...
Will be interesting to see if a RDNA3 card can take out that 4080 12Gb imposter card.
It would be poetic justice and a absolute win for AMD if they can beat it on performance and price.
I'm skipping this generation.
Not impressed with Nvidia naming two 4080s.
That 12Gb 192Bit card should have been the 4070.
The real question is how crap / cut down will the actual 4070 spec end up being now?
Looks like I'll be delaying my AM5 upgrade until next year.
It doesn't make much sense to me forking out for a 7900X or 7950X on launch, not when the Vcache SKUs will release a few months later.
I mean the idea is to have a gaming rig that will out perform Raptor Lake, and this is what it's...
Looking like a decent enough upgrade if your already rocking a Z690.
But I wouldn't buy into it from scratch, not unless your happy with a EOL socket that has nothing left to give.
Not obsolete, it just will not be the top dog anymore.
It really is up to people if they choose to keep chasing the carrot or not. ;)
My general recommendation to people is to skip a generation or two.
