UK MSRP has already been set for the 4000 series, it only changes if the pound goes down. The pound going up just means higher profit margins for Nvidia and/or retailers. It could be good timing for the 7900 XTX though.
Unless you're gaming at 60Hz, that CPU will be too much of a bottleneck for a 7900 XTX or 7900 XT. The only thing I'd keep from that build is the case.
What is a "reasonable" amount of time to repair though? Pretty sure Overclockers will want a full month before they offer a refund which doesn't seem reasonable to me.
