This is getting ridiculous (energy prices - Strictly NO referrals!)

Bleh yeah I just read that, then if you can do what I suggested it may help, last couple of bills with all PI redacted.

This is getting ridiculous (energy prices - Strictly NO referrals!)

I don't think you need to clear them, you just needed to get them below a certain figure right? I don't think they have to be £0. Get over to Octopus was my suggestion previously if you can, I know you said why you couldn't at the time, but that is still the best advice really. They can't stop...

Solar panels and battery - any real world reccomendations?

Yes I would get quotes as if paying normally wouldn't even mention 0% financing, then I would look at options like the Nationwide mortgage I mentioned. 0% interest CC is fine but the Nationwide deal is actually better on the surface, with a 5 year mortgage term at 0% this is longer than most 0%...

Solar panels and battery - any real world reccomendations?

Nationwide were offering a 0% green mortgage for solar installs, but ofc you need your current mortgage with them. Not sure if anyone else does it!

How to getthe best out of Octopus Flux

I'm on the same, but I still don't think it's worth force exporting, with the delta of 7.5p/kWh being quite small, and further eroded by inefficiencies of conversion from battery back to grid exported energy. I intend to just use mine as normal, and excess solar will get sent to grid.

    *** Offical Dragon's Dogma 2 Thread ***

Completed this last night, level 50 and about 50 hours in, I didn't get the true ending (won't spoil it for anyone as I did a bit of reading on what it was). A fun game on the whole but various flaws/issues mean I am not that interested in trying to fully complete every aspect of it. I will...

    Stellar Blade | OT |

In case anyone is interested, you can glitch through to the rest of the area in the demo that is behind the locked gates. It's fairly easy to do, and contains maybe another 30-45 mins of Gameplay. This opens up the rest of Eidos-7 as far as I can tell. Spoiler tagging the method below...

    Mortgage Rate Rises

Yes, I'd do both in this case if you can. Some overpayment, some into savings at a good rate. Regular savers make a much bigger difference here technically. My Nationwide account is 8% interest, which beats everything else, so I put £200/month there first before I do anything. Length of...

    Mortgage Rate Rises

I don't think I'd bother with maxing savings vs mortgage overpayment when the difference is 4.57% to 5% ish tbh, whilst yes it's better, it does add some extra work :) In my case though, mortgage is 1%, and savings is 5%, this is a no-brainer and is potentially a lot more than £167, so I am...

    *** Offical Dragon's Dogma 2 Thread ***

Am trying to play the 1st run without mods if I can avoid, let's me see how the actual vision of the game is, but on a NG+ run or something I'd not mind modding in some QOL stuff.

Drabnir's grotto was the original way I went, and then the way I had to go back at least once lol. I cleared it out I think when I went through it. When I glitched through the gate, I went along a bit further as I hadn't explored the other side, and I found the beach and Drake that you...

    *** Offical Dragon's Dogma 2 Thread ***

I managed to glitch my way through that big locked gate over at Bakbattahl using the warrior charge ability Ravening Lunge. Actually this ability is the one I've been having the most fun with lately, because you can use it to: Run faster than running normally, by holding it you can just sprint...

    Games you're playing, and games...

Yep it's really good visually, I am not hugely into the story/characters as it feels like the target audience is for someone much younger than me, but it's still fun to play and the platforming is good too.

Microsoft limits Xbox Game Pass subscription extensions in certain countries

We're in 2024 and the max extension is usually 36 months right? how have you got until 2028 as that is 4 years away?

    Games you're playing, and games...

I kind of feel the same, except the combat isn't really that great, so yeah I also wish it had more challenge/strategy to it. The level design is really good though, I can tell they put a lot of effort into thinking how the map connects, and to have hidden things to explore all over the place...

Yeah worth it I think. the DLC blends into the main game map as well so no reason to split them.

XBOX Gamepass Ultimate conversion is back for £1

Not sure, but seems stacking is still possible here at least. To be honest I fully expect the game pass price to increase soon, because addition of Blizzard/Activision stuff, and also EA price for their sub is going up a lot as well. There is a real risk that it's going to get too big for it's...

    Massive Car insurance costs?

£270 last year to £350 this year with Admiral. Asked them to offer a better deal and the best they can do is £320, still an increase of £50. I'm considering switching via TCB, get £45 cashback and the base prices seem less. Any of these worth considering or am I better off staying with Admiral...

XBOX Gamepass Ultimate conversion is back for £1

There is a post here about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/MicrosoftRewards/comments/1c0zeef/new_xbox_subscription_extension_limits_selected/ It looks like they're stopping stacking as much in countries where it's cheaper primarily.
