I managed to get two RTX 3080s and it's perfect for the work I do (3D animation/rendering). I was wondering if there's any other benefits? Sadly there's no NVLINK support so I can't use them for the games. Is there anything else I can do with them? Somehow offload them so games perform better...

Game is stunning. Running at 1440p Ultra RTX Ultra on an RTX 3080. Around 50-70fps with DLSS on quality. I'm sure I could turn some settings down to lock it at 60 fps.

I'm going to stick with my 8800 GTX until something better comes out

Is there much performance difference between the Palit non-OC and OC versions? A non-oc version is coming into post today, but I have a TUF OC supposedly coming end of the month from a competitor. Looking at benchmarks they seem to all perform within a 3-5% mark.

Awesome right? I have an ASUS TUF oc confirmed to arrive end of this month from a competitor, but I'm gonna cancel that now. Also was 33rd in queue for the Zotac trinity and 3rd for AMP holo. But looking at benchmarks all the 3080s are basically the same in performance.

I have a Palit coming from a competitor tomorrow (ordered yesterday evening). I guess I can cancel my OCUK orders and another one from a competitor. If I knew in hindsight how 'easy' it is to get notifications telling me when they're available, I would have lower stress from waiting here...
