The Sony A&CII has better autofocus than the Fuji, but ergonomically not as good as the Fuji. It lacks a Joystick for a start. On paper the Sony is a "better" camera but you might hate using it.
It's an option for sure, it is an amazing camera.
Personally, I would go a multi routes approach.
1 - Sign up to Email Notifications in John Lewis. When they pop up in stock, it is fastest fingers first. You will have a chance of getting it much sooner than pre-order if you are quick as John Lewis do not take pre-orders.
2 - WEX - They cost...
If you want one, just pre-order one, get your name in the queue. It will be about 1-3 months (or 3-6) depending who you ask. But the longer you wait, the longer that queue is getting.
I only waited 1 month and pre-ordered at the end of February.
The X100VI is a very good all rounder if you can live with the fixed focal length.
For an easier to obtain alternative, get the XT5 + a lens of your choice. It has the exact same internals (auto focus + sensor). It is larger but you do have the option of change lenses should you want to...
Actually, just checked, I paid £25, ordered it from here. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006067113624.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.17.24481802QrW1h6
1 - It does click and the mechanism works as expected.
2 - Mine is the 30lb spring, which is less force than I thought....30lb...
You need to define "1 lens that does all".
For me, 1 lens that does all would be a 35mm prime. Which is achievable in every system.
For some people, they want a 10-800/2.8 which does not exist.
I bought the £19 option in the first link about 3 weeks ago. It works great, good material. Weighty in the hand and does exactly what it says on the tin.
I would prefer a flat base and not a ridge one though, but I don't know if I want to pay £27 more for that as I can always use a normal...
Now I am back in the Espresso game...but still like my filter. I want to get a better (more ergonomic) hand grinder, under £100. So I can have 1 grinder for 1 type of coffee.
I like the look of the 1Zpresso 2Qs, any other to look at?
I was going to fork out and get a Fellow Ode Gen 2 but...
I just got one of these....it fits everything but the iPad, unless it's an iPad Mini?

It fits a Steam Deck though.
I can fit all this in there
Body side pocket for Passport
Hook for keys
Can fit...
Every "medium" distance flight, and that is all flights I've taken within Europe, and down to North Africa (Morocco) are on the same 2+3 configurations where the actual seats between the 1st row to the last row are exactly the same. The only difference is there is a curtain from row 10 onwards...
Amex Gold £195 a year (1st year free I think) will give you 4 free access a year, and then it is £20 a pop I beleive.
These are for Priority Pass program so you get a Priority Pass membership which you show to enter the lounge as opposed to the Amex card itself.
Since the 1st year is free, you...
The Wotancraft Cordura Upgrade?
https://www.wotancraft.tw/en/product/3.5L-waist-pack-sling-bag-v2-khakibrown-canvas
It works out to about £85. Not cheap but I think it is worth it,. If you want something cheaper then I would look to Tenba bags. The backpack I got recently cost less than the...
