Bigger family car after a Focus - help needed

I don't understand the "a Focus is big enough" comments. If, having owned one for 7 years, it was big enough we wouldn't be looking for a bigger car.

Bigger family car after a Focus - help needed

The Superb looks like an awful lot of car. We'll take a look but might be a bit too much of a step up. Octavia estate was on our list, which might be worth a look?

Bigger family car after a Focus - help needed

We're looking for a new family car that's big enough for two children (two car seats and all the stuff that comes with children). We currently have a 2008 Ford Focus. Ideally looking for something with a big boot, less than six years old, auto, and £12k. Thinking of an estate, SUV or MPV (that's...

    Home network mystery

Thanks for the replies. Do these photos help at all? Back of the router: Wall ports on the other side of the room to where the router is plugged in: Where the router is plugged in: Another wall port in an upstairs room:

    Home network mystery

I've finally gotten round to sorting the network in my house, but I'm struggling to figure out how the previous owner's setup works. I've got sky fibre, with the sky router plugged directly into the port on the wall. No microfilter needed. Every room has a phone port and network port on the...

*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Is there a consensus on the best case for the standard S6? Ideally something that covers the screen and allows use of camera when case is flipped.

£5k budget for mid-sized family car

I think Focus is edging it at the moment. Can anyone tell me if the boot on the Mk2 Focus is bigger than then Mk3? Looking at reviews for the Mk3, it seems the boot space is criticised, but it's hard to find exact numbers online.

£5k budget for mid-sized family car

Zafira is certainly big, but I think it's too big for a small family. Unless I'm being dumb and it's not seven seats as standard. If it was between a Megane at £4k or Focus at £5k do you think it's worth paying the extra?

£5k budget for mid-sized family car

Thanks for your advice. Without wanting to completely dismiss the Mondeo, we saw a few and they seem massive. I'm about to learn to drive and my wife is currently driving a Micra, so that much of a step up seems rather daunting. There's also the MPG to consider and the fact we'll mostly be...

£5k budget for mid-sized family car

My wife and I have our first child due in October so we're after a decent sized car on a budget of around £5k. Essentially we know nothing about cars, and endless reading online seems to pose more questions than give answers. We need an automatic, as big a boot as possible (for the baby buggy...

New GTX 460 - PC boots to windows but no display

My mate bought a GTX460 and a new power supply (700W) and installed today, but he's having problems. The PC boots into windows, but there is no signal to the monitor - he can hear windows load though. That's no signal from the moment the PC is turned on. Any ideas?

    **HTC HD2 Thread**

Maybe a dumb question, but I want my phone to use only my office/home WiFi when I'm at work/home, and not use my contract internet through vodafone. If I have a connection to a wireless network will the phone automatically use that, even though the phone is saying it's connected to contract...

PS3 or xBox 360 Elite..That is the question

The next Splinter Cell is also quite some way off, with Ubisoft recently confirming a big delay. We can now expect the game at some point after April 1, 2009.

PS3 or xBox 360 Elite..That is the question

Regarding 720/1080p, the vast majority of Xbox 360 games run natively at 720p but the console scaler can output at a variety of resolutions including 1080p.

PS3 or xBox 360 Elite..That is the question

For me no, if you've only got a max of 3-4 games on the go at any one time you'll be fine with a 60GB. I tried to explain this to a mate, but he insisted he had to buy the Elite because it was 'better'.

bored recommend me a new PC game plz

If you're into MMOs then Age of Conan and Lord of the Rings Online are both worth a look imo. I'd also recommend taking a look at Frontlines: Fuel of War. Otherwise there's plenty on the way that will eat into your wallet: Spore, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky, Fallout 3, Red Alert 3, Crysis Warhead.

PS3 or xBox 360 Elite..That is the question

Yeah, installing games is really the only reason you're going to need the 120GB drive.

Need a video capture card to record Xbox 360 via HDMI

The Intensity Cards work really well and the included software makes capturing very simple. You'll need a fast CPU if you want to capture in HD (compressed) or a hefty disc array if you're capturing uncompressed HD. However if you're only doing standard def for youtube you can get away with...
