Apparently the only change was to add the RGB color change. Nothing else. Not sure why it would be using more watts and the other changes you mentioned.

RT is over rated. Too many reflections on games at night is horrible too. You still get reflections without RT in games. I don't know what the big fuss is. I bet if you told someone that RT was turned on in a game they were playing and it wasn't, they would believe you. The amount it tanks...

So what are your settings for overclocks guys? Mine are: Max frequency: 2600mhz Voltage: 1000 VRAM: 'fast timing' option 2000mhz Power limit: 15 Fans about 75% This seems like I'm hitting the limit of the card, or does anyone have a better setting arrangement?

I think I heard linus tech tips say that it cannot be changed. Shame.

So I got my 5800x fitted today. Turned on SAM in the bios. Is it worth doing that? I read somewhere that it can make some games run worse? Anyone had any experiences with SAM and a 6800XT?

Same. If it was from '###' then I got the email from them saying back in stock and went straight into basket. Gives you 15 mins to complete the order too which is a great touch.

Looking to have a play with an OC for my 6800XT. What settings would you lot recommended? Plus is an OC worth it on this card? For an extra 100mhz etc..

Why didn't you change the question on the thread to have you received your code if you have RECEIVED your card already. Otherwise the thread will be full of people just awaiting cards. Which is thousands.

Fine here. I get the odd notification about wattman crashing and having to default to standard option or something but that only seems to happen when I had selected the 'auto overclock' setting and been gaming hard. When left on the default clock, it's been fine.

Yep. Too many people on here just happy to just sit and wait in a massive queue. Everyone I personally know who was after a card has put in little effort outside of OC and managed to get a card after a week or so. Not at an over inflated price too. Guys if you really want a card this side of...
