Do you use Microsoft Update? Try changing it back to Windows Update from the option menu on the left. Fixed the random spikes for me.

But mate that's what i'm saying, for the price of a full set of genuine Canon ink for my Canon IP4200 printer, i can just buy another Canon IP4200 printer (or its updated equivalent, the IP4300) which come with a full complement of ink tanks! Ludicrous but true! :cool:
