Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

It's wild. It's like people are being starved of oxygen or something. As @Tetras said (not exactly in those words - some paraphrasing and insinuating going on) in another thread; stop buying sh*te products and then we might see some change. £750 for a cheapest 4070 ti and 12 gig of vram is...

Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

Fair enough. For me though. I'd the actual components, sitting in a case; each of those components replaceable and tuneable.

Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

A steam deck might sound good, especially with an OLED, but one cannot call it a PC experience. C'mon, the expectations have to be tempered way too much for my liking to even run the thing.

In their prime, whom was your striker of the last generation?

Henry was something else and also a good generation before those guys, hence no mention. But an absolute beauty.

In their prime, whom was your striker of the last generation?

I love Wayne Rooney. Watching him at Euro 2004 was incredible, and I truly felt like we witnessed something special, which we did. He's undoubtedly one of the best England players to ever play the game. I remember the whole world buzzing about Wayne Rooney after Euro 2004. From the players to...

    Future-proofing your GPU.

Aye, 2016 is the release date of the GPU but a lot of amazing games it could still run, I'm sure.

    Future-proofing your GPU.

I actually started caring about power consumption and noise a lot more than I used to. So much so that I went with the Hellhound 7800XT over the Nitro. Regarding the warranty, well, there is a thread on this forum about whom to trust and whom to be more wary of, so on that, there is a little...

    Future-proofing your GPU.

Wow. This is awesome. One of the reasons I've started this thread was because I've seen numerous people who are, by today's standards, using very weak GPUs, and yet, they've been able to make it work. I'd love to know about your experiences. What are the main choke points? I'm guessing it's VRAM?

    Future-proofing your GPU.

I understand that completely and it's certainly a fair way of explaining how technologic advancement would work. However, there are so many variables just in the vram discussion, apropos the adequate amount one should have in 2023. I totally get your point but a lot of people are putting in...

Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

I'm guessing there is a lot of over business/r&d synergy. Seeing as Nvidia own 80 to 95% of the AI market - I'd say, people whom bet on DLSS, are good to go. On a side note, I'd love to know how much Nvidia actually invest into "gaming" arm of their enterprise. I may go look for it.

    Future-proofing your GPU.

First and foremost, excuse any technical naivety on my part, and forgive me if this question seems a bit silly or if there's already a thread discussing this. However, I wanted to ask for your thoughts on what you look for when buying a new graphics card. Is it the hardware, brand...

Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

To be fair, I thought the same, but according to Reuters, half of Nvidia profit comes from gaming and thus, one has to assume that profit margins in graphics card sales would be at the very forefront of Nvidia's thinking. If their profits; - and subsequently their shares were to experiences a...

Black Friday/cyber Monday - what would count as worth buying?

With that said, high end cards raise the prices of some very, very bad GPU's. :(

In your opinion, what is the best AIB 7800XT card?

Oh, dear. Yes, a typo, indeed. :D Anyways, I'm happy with the purchase. I already had a system with Sapphire Pulse 7900 XTX, which I eventually sold at a loss. This time I decided not to lose my mind with the budget after initially eyeing up a 4090. There is more fun and dare I say some...

In your opinion, what is the best AIB 7800XT card?

In the end, I went for the Hellhound 6800xt over Sapphire Nitro. Thermals sealed it for me. Got it for £530.00 including delivery, from a competitor. Although, I was so tempted to go for 6800 XT Sapphire Nitro that's on Overclockers at the minute.

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

Yeah, I'm flip-flapping between this and LG - 27GR95QE-B for £630.00. Really don't know which to go for. I do like 27 inch flat 1440p panel. But then again, I'm 100% sure I'll love the AWDF too. LG will be easier to drive though.

I'll hold out for 7800xt Hellhound at £500 I think, hopefully.

Well, of course. I'd usually upgrade every 3 years anyway.
