By gaming chair are you referring to those ones that lie on the ground that rock back and forth? Or an desk chair with gaming aesthetics? (secret lab, noble chairs etc.)
There's some leaks going around saying their might be a G502 X Plus successor. Makes me wonder what they could add to it over the current G502 Lightspeed (possibly better switches that avoid the double clicking issues?)
I'm not really sure how to get rid of it but there's text colour fringing on my 48CX. Makes it hard to use as my main monitor so i'm only using it for movies/games (and my 1440p 27" monitor for everything else)
Around 80 for OLED light and contrast is set to 85. Pixel shift is on, logo luminance off, hdr off.
Think I'll try using it with a lower value for OLED light (maybe 20~) for a week or so and see how I fare since ABL doesn't activate at all at that low of a brightness. I find myself missing the...
Think I'm gonna have to return the TV, the ABL is pretty aggressive for the types of games I'm playing. Very noticeable in certain courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Sunshine Airport, Excitebike Arena)
Some have had it with 144hz and OC and with G-Sync enabled/disabled. Hard to figure out whats the cause since the responses have been rather anecdotal. I have read of users who've been using it for months with the black screen issue popping up only once, so again YMMV.
Agreed. Stock may dwindle out like it did for the 27GN950 too but by then we'll probably receive the next iteration of this monitor with presumably the black screen issues fixed.
Thanks just placed an order for it :D I think the response times is why so many people want a smaller OLED monitor but the ones that are "available" at the moment are extremely expensive
You'll get used to it. The clouding and blacklight bleed also alleviates a fair amount after heavy usage, but the IPS glow (the corners of the screen) will remain more or less the same.
