When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

I bought a Sapphire Nitro+ 6800 XT OC for €1228... and in don't regret it at all... here is why. 6800XT MSRP €679 - No stock anywhere at this price. Sapphire Nitro 6800XT MSRP works out about €120 over Giving this card a €800 price tag before any shipping, customs, fees,VAT and retail...

A Chance to buy a Sapphire 6800 XT

A Chance to buy a Sapphire 6800 XT

Good points. I could wait but I still find myself itching for a 6000 series. Maybe I'm just keen for the chase ha! 1200.... its a lot for a 6800XT, especially when you put a 6900 XT in the same sentance.

A Chance to buy a Sapphire 6800 XT

This particular card has and MSRP of around 690 pounds, making it closer to 900 euro for me in Ireland (VAT, Import/Customs) etc. As for 5700 XT I'm not sure.

A Chance to buy a Sapphire 6800 XT

Yeah I guess your right, just looking for external perspective... I know the prices are easing a bit, but stock of the 6800 XT are shocking.

A Chance to buy a Sapphire 6800 XT

I have a reservation of a 6800 XT I'll use the OCuk link to the same card: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sapphire-radeon-rx-6800-xt-nitro-oc-se-16gb-gddr6-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-39a-sp.html ....for 1240 Euro Shipped. My question is this, it is worth it? I really want a 6800 XT, is there...

    GPU panic selling?

Whilst I would like that idea, there was probably an enough of a demand from gamers alone to keep prices competitive but nonetheless high (at least msrp) I wouldn't say prices should be lower than msrp without the whole pandemic/scalper/miner market.

6700 XT only viable option south of £800???

Same, I was looking at the MSI Gaming X today on OCuk, 6900XT does seem to be more reasonable priced when you look at the landscape and its in stock.... still a little high for me.

6700 XT only viable option south of £800???

I was thinking about this myself...part of me would feel dirty trying to offset the cost of a new card by using the market as an excuse to charge stupid money for something that doesn't have a warranty. I know in the end people are doing it and I loose out, but I just would feel sh1t3 about...

6700 XT only viable option south of £800???

@OP I own a 5700XT I looked into the 6700XT, the perf is about 18 percent higher which would be a nice uplift (for me) if I could get one at msrp. looking at the price per frame, the 6700XT is not worth it at current price. It is probably your only realistic option for card that is widely...

Help for long time existing customer but new to forums

Considering that scalping PC components is relatively a new thing (afaik) that actually might make sense and work.

When the Gpu's prices will go down ?

I would happily plug my KB/M into my xbox series x and play if prices stick like this I'll be done with PC gaming. I can't see prices staying up like this forever as or exact dates....who knows. I just wish there was a more customisable xp on console otherwise I would be playing on it now.

Help for long time existing customer but new to forums

Pretty much in the same boat. I'm a long time lurker and customer to the store. 50 posts is nothing in fairness and there is lots of information and interesting topics (if your into that sort of thing).

People who got GPUs, how did you do it?

Anyone have any idea if 6800XT's are trickling in? (In stock) Or is a chance at one of those pretty much chalked? I check regularly but never see then in stock.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

Don't feed the scalper market in any way shape or form. (IMO).

Okay Thanks for the heads up. did it last week for the 3080 Ti drop (like it helped). I was refreshing every 10 seconds. Interesting I wouldn't of thought it a big deal as I'm not a new session I'm just refreshing the page as if I was traversing the site to a different product etc.
