Great thread but by far and away the worse one for me was AC Valhalla.
OMG it started off so well but then it get's to the stage of everything just feels added on for the sake of it.
I hadn't played Witcher 3 at this stage and I had compared them in reviews and youtube, the reviewers got it...
Evil West 8/10
While it seems very average and repetitive it is yet addictive, some of the bosses were quite hard too and after beating them I was able to go back to Doom Eternal with more confidence and finally beat The Dark Lord very final boss .
God of War, 3 times now I've tried going back to it, I bought The Witcher 3 at xmas so it's even further down the road now, only thing maybe is I'm waiting for my 34" ultrawide curved screen to be delivered.
God of War....I just can't get into it, I've gone back to it 3 times now...
I bought the Witcher 3 at xmas so it's further pushed down the road now, only thing in it's favour is I'm waiting on my new 34" curved monitor to be delivered.
Days Gone 9/10
I've always been into FPS rather than 3rd person but this game made me change my mind and it continued with...
An even better game
RDR2 10/10
Options to play FPS or 3rd person but I stayed with 3rd person.
When I was on the 470+ drivers RDR2 never crashed...
But to play the 666 updated version of Doom I needed the 490+ drivers...
Now RDR2 crashes often, I've verified my RDR2 files but still the same problem :/
What gpu temps are people getting with this?
All my other games I get between 60-70 but Valhalla is about 78=80 and Days gone is the hottest at 78-86.
my case is spacious and I clean the inside once a month ...
I own the Song WHX-1000MK4's and their the best headphones I've ever had for the music that I listen to Punk, which is produced terribly but these headphones clarify a lot of the muddy sounds that I've always had with my music, decent for gaming too.
I have these speakers which are Dell branded for over 15 years but lately I'm hearing a distortion noise from the bass box, the odd thing is when I disconnect from the PC it's still there unless I switch off the speaker set via the bass box .
The noise is also intermittent but regular enough...
Hope i'm not hijacking your thread but my issue is my x box series bluetooth controller , for most games it briefly disconnects every now and then but for days gone the ps port to pc it's literally every min if even more.
and like OP I've gone back to my wired controller.
I'm loving the game so far but I'm barely into it.
One problem I am having is the sensitivity of moving the character forward, there's a slight delay, it isn't innovative , like a mili second delay.
Playing it on hard and game running very smoothly on highest settings 1440p with a 3080.
I love DF and yes Alex is great at that.
Referring the game, I had just started Metro Exodus for the 1st time when the enhanced version came out and yes as some one earlier said the lighting has spoilt us but I felt like I was simply playing the game rather then immersed in it.
I started Days...
hAH!
And there was me thinking it was my imagination.
My lights go to 1 colour and the overall lighting effect just seems duller.
Besides that everything else seems fine on highest settings.
I used Gforceexp and it chose balanced for dlss....everything on ultra though
