I have had virtually no problems with AMD drivers since I got my 6900XT about 1.5 years ago. Obviously, This is just my experience but from what I have seen and heard, AMD drivers are just as fine as Nvidia ones these days.
Hey Guys, Sorry to spam this here but can any of your help me regarding username change? I have used 'contact us' process and sent DM to a mod but nothing seems to work.
There is a bit of that but the points still stand. Raw performance increase is not subjective both from clock speed and memory speed increase (LC bios flash). I am not sure about O11D EVO rebuild comment; Did I miss some context?
I have few reasons for picking this up:
1. I don't think we would be able to get our hands on anything before December (at the very least). So we still have 10 months to pass without any significant upgrades.
2. If the prices go up to 2.5x-3x of the current flagship, then I would most probably...
Hi Guys,
Need an urgent advice. TOXIC AMD Radeon™ RX 6900 XT Extreme Edition is available at decent price for me. Is it worth it over a reference RX 6900 XT? I am talking about everting from cooling, performance, dual bios, power limit etc. It would cost me about ~400$ to upgrade to this. I am...
I have found that hardware reviewers, including the good ones, are extremely averse to criticism and default to calling people fanboys for any minor slight.
Yes. The voltage (as per HWinfo) during games and 3d mark is around 1.123 mv (stock volatge settings ) and this is expected as per various discussions on forums etc.
That's true. It's obviously taking the higher voltages but as per many guides and discussion around the MPT setting in question, it applies the exact highest voltage and gets rid of the voltage cure. In my case voltage curve appears to be intact. Voltage increase is proportional to whatever...
Yes, That is the process that I have followed. I can see the voltage going up to 1.206 mv in HWinfo. Also, with default voltages, HWInfo never reports anything above 1.175 which is not the case after applying voltages and GPUz is reporting 1.262mv as well. I am puzzled ?
So, Is anyone here messing around with the new voltage unlock using MPT? I am experiencing some weird behavior with it. The voltage shown in HwInfo and GPU-Z (Wattman) are not the same? I thought they were supposed to be the same if you are using MPT TEMP_DEPENDENT_VMIN to unlock voltages?
You are going full-throttle on the power limit. Does playing around with the Frequency tab nets a significant benefit? You might wanna be careful with those voltages...
1337mv, that's really pushing it. I think 1.2mv should be ok as a daily driver given it is the default voltage for many new 6900XTs and I am just aiming for ~2700Mhz. My only concern is that my card is a reference (from Sapphire) and this setting does change the boost behavior related to voltage.
He is doing Lisa's work for her. Joking aside, If we can get someone to confirm stable settings with voltage unlocks, 6900XT might turn out to be a virtually flawless card (excluding RT).
